Presentation is very important here. Beautiful plating. We are not much for it, since we know we are about to destroy it, but every one of their rolls looked appetizing & that matters.
Service was good. Happy hour is not daily. It is just Mon thru Thurs. We missed HH but I feel like the meal we shared was worth full price.
Next time we are in the area, we will visit again!
Let me just say the sushi here is legit. We live in the Bay Area where there are tons of sushi spots, but honestly, most of them aren’t that impressive. This place blows them all away.
The yellowtail was super fresh and meaty. The lobster roll won the best roll of the night and is packed with flavor. I also noticed that every dish coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. They clearly care about presentation.
Service was great too. Overall, this spot is tough to beat. Not bad at all for a sushi joint in a strip mall!
Definitely recommend checking it out.
Ate here again and as expected amazing, delicious, and great service. Still the best spot for sushi in Seal Beach. Yummy.
We were able to make their happy hour and enjoyed reduced pricing on a generous happy hour menu.
Or meal started with their seasoned edamame. It was DELICIOUS! I’ve had other seasoned edamame that I thought was good, but this one was even better and with a nice kick. Yum!
We enjoyed it with sake and a beer.
We tried different sushi rolls. All delicious and fairly priced.
I would have liked a little more attentiveness. It took a bit of time to get the ginger and wasabi for our meal. They didn’t bring it at the beginning as normal. And it also took us a bit to get our check. However since it was my first time, for all I know it could have just been an off day for them. Even with that, when they were serving us, they were nice and not rude so, I still give them high stars.
Oh!! And if you’re celebrating a birthday, they turn on the disco lights and sing happy birthday. It wasn’t ours, but you can bet we sang along!! How fun!!!
Honestly, the service wasn’t a deal breaker. I’d still go back again for the food and the happy hour pricing. I trust the service will be great the next time.
I wish I could have tried everything.
