I don’t want to age myself, but I feel like I walked off of the set of the movie Cocktail! One of the best bar/restaurant/pool views around. We’re picky because we’re locals. The ambiance was just right. The best part of all was the staff: Summer, our beautiful, bubbly blonde waitress kept us smiling, our drinks flowing, and gave excellent recommendations for food. Cory, the bartender, was fun. accommodating, and made our drinks to perfection. The manager and even the dishwasher came out to greet us. All the workers seemed genuinely happy and made us feel welcome too. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a spot that will be a good time with a postcard backdrop. We’ll be back for sure.

The location was beautiful right on the water. Amazing vibe with the ocean right there! But the food was not the best. We got a Cali roll and a dragon roll and they were very sub par and nothing special. They weren’t bad but not worth 16$ per roll. I felt like the Jack Daniels whiskey was watered down and also the wine. On top of that there was dead fruit flies in the whiskey when I got it.

Oh my gosh! Staying in Pompano Beach for work and I seriously don’t want to go anywhere else. Maurizio and Renee are my FAVORITES, and the food is beyond phenomenal. If they get busy, there can be a little wait, but they always go above and beyond to make up for it. Everyone is friendly, great atmosphere, and I just want to hug them all. Make sure to get the Yellowtail Jalapeño appetizer and the Bao. If I could give them a zillion stars, I would.

We tried out Sushi Lab for their New Years Eve Omakase special and it was great! The fish was very fresh, expertly prepared and seasoned. I am glad that Pompano Beach has an Omakase option in a beautiful beachside location, been waiting for one. Also, some of the bad reviews I saw on here obviously don’t understand what Omakase is, so do not be deterred.

My friend and I did the 15-course omakase with Thomas Chik. The omakase was high quality (better than Sushi by Bou), and Thomas was comprehensively attentive. Great quality, beach vibe. Highly recommend.

Manager wouldn’t take off a well done slider when we asked for medium then said we shouldn’t order them as it’s too hard to cook at that temperature. Server never told us happy hour was over. (Our fault to no know their hours). They changed the surfnturf roll. Server was great just need a manager that takes care of people. We spend about 700 a month there on average. Not happy after last night’s experience.
