We visit Sushi Bakubi at least once a week, and it has truly become one of our favorite places. The people there are always so nice and friendly, and the manager is always available, making sure every guest is satisfied and happy.The food is consistently delicious, and everything is very clean and well maintained. You can really feel the care they put into both the service and the quality of the meals.Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great sushi and a welcoming atmosphere!

Dined twice, 09/27 and 10/18. Both times staff were kind and the food was delicious. Rice used for rolls and sushi was just the right consistency and fish was fresh. Other Korean dished like bulgogi were authentic tasting too. The Sashimi deluxe was good amount for 2 people. Yummy chicken could be shared between 3-4 people as an appetizer, preferred it over karaage. Fried cheesecake dessert was a first time and it was great. Crepe cakes were super moist and not too sweet. Atmosphere is calm and not loud.

This Japanese restaurant is truly one of my favorites! The food is always incredibly fresh — from the sushi to the salads and soups, everything tastes perfect every time. The hospitality and service are top-notch; the staff are always welcoming, and the manager is extremely nice and friendly.
I go there at least twice a week, and every single visit feels special. I’ve never had just an “okay” experience — it’s always amazing! Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves delicious, fresh Japanese food and great service.

Absolutely best Sushi and Asian style food I’ve ever had. Will add more with pictures next time I come. We had the dinner plate with the yummy chicken, the Larry Roll (special tuna roll), and the vegetable stir fry. All of the food was gourmet style, clean, and fresh (including the salad and soup). We got the kids fish to go for our son who is super picky and he loved it. Very affordable as well. The staff were all friendly and the atmosphere was very chill. The hot sake was also good. Great place for a date or the family at all times of the day from what I can tell. Going to try it a lot more now.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. It was clean, welcoming, and the staff were so kind and gave amazing care to every single customer. What I really appreciated was that no matter how busy they were, they were happy to help with questions and customization. The food was fresh, well prepared, and nicely presented. Found this Sushi restaurant in Herndon and it did not disappoint! We ordered a few special rolls and the Caterpillar was delicious. Other rolls were good too. We also had a Ramen noodle bowl which was plentiful and fresh tasting. All in all, would recommend and would visit again!

I’d say the food is about 95% of Ariake, but the service is better and there’s not as much of a crowd. This is a very good alternative to Ariake.
One thing I didn’t like too much was how weak or diluted the wasabi paste is, but I just had to use more of it. And they provide a huge clump so it was not an issue in the end.

We’ve been coming to Sushi Kabuki since it first opened, and it’s hands down one of our favorite spots in the Reston/Herndon area! The variety of sushi is incredible, always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every team member here is genuinely kind and respectful, and the service has consistently been excellent. This place never disappoints!

Atmosphere and service were both great, and the staff was welcoming and attentive. I was genuinely excited to try this place after multiple recommendations. Unfortunately, the sushi and sashimi were underwhelming as the quality of the fish didn’t meet expectations. Given the strong reputation/rating, I was expecting noticeably fresher fish. I’m hoping this was an off night, but based on this visit, the food didn’t match the experience.
