This place is amazing! Highly recommend the omakase here, not too filling either with the 12 or 17 piece option. You also have the option at the end to order more. The sake flight pairs very well with the omakase. Great vibes with old school hip hop playing while eating amazing sushi. The chef and host were super nice. Everything was wonderful, we’ll definitely be back!

I stopped in this restaurant for their sushi special! When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and found the restaurant. It was small and cozy and I loved the Playlist! I had their special with the the 12 piece sushi. That included:

Yellowtail
Lean Tuna
Spotted Prawn
Salmon Roe
Albacore
Chopped Tuna
Scallop
Miso Cod
Fatty Tuna
Salmon
Surf N’ Tuf
BBQ Eel

The sushi was really good! I also had the old Fashioned Pearl drink which I enjoyed! All in all a great experience!

The restaurant’s ambiance was wonderfully atmospheric, enhanced by the lighting. The special cocktails complemented the delicious and fresh sushi. It was absolutely delicious. While the reservation system made the service feel attentive but 60 minutes felt rushed… there wasn’t even enough time to chat or take photos.

This place is amazing, and I’d definitely recommend it! The atmosphere was perfect, and the customer service was top-notch! The bartender, Bryan, knows how to make the best drinks! The Honey Bee was superb!! Chef Yumi also served us a delectable meal that was to die for! 10/10 can’t wait to go again!!!

Sushi by Bou Hoboken never misses.
Service is always a 10/10. We’re regulars now and always request Sean, the sushi chef. There aren’t enough good things to say about him! His creativity and attention to detail make every visit special. He even creates new menus with us to keep our nigiri experience exciting and fresh.

Yesterday’s favorite was the tuna with quail egg, Japanese dressing, and furikake seasoning, absolute perfection.

Also want to shout out Kevin, who I believe is the manager and mixologist here. His cocktails are just as impressive as the sushi, creative, balanced, and absolutely delicious.

The hip-hop music sets the perfect vibe, my boyfriend and I love it. Great food, great energy, and even better people. Our favorite nigiri spot in NJ!

Celebrated my dad’s birthday at Sushi by Bou in Hoboken and had such a great experience! The 12-course omakase was fresh and delicious, the team made the night feel special, and the atmosphere was fun and energetic. Being Located in the W hotel was convenient, after we finished our meal we hung out for a night cap in the “Living Room” at the W which also has good vibes

Fast food style omakase, dining time is exactly one hour. I have no issue with that, but overall sushi quality is very mediocre for the $150 price. It went heavy on sauces, which covered the texture and taste of the fish. Also, I had the worst toro in my life here – tendon in toro, can you believe it???

Maybe it is okay in NJ standards, but it is FAR from the average quality in NYC omakase for the price.

Worst experience was, SUGGESTED TIPS PERCENTAGE WAS AFTER TAX, which is totally unacceptable. Will not visit again.

The 17 course Omakase experience at Sushi by Bou is located in the W hotel in Hoboken and it was a fantastic experience! Every course was carefully constructed, the food was delicious, the service was amazingly hospitable, and the ambience was delightful. The chef was able to accommodate our dietary preferences (e.g. swapping out beef for something else)

The place creates an intimate dining experience but it also means that there isn’t a ton of seating. Make sure to make reservations in advance and show up on time as the experience is timed and lasts about 45-60 minutes.

We had a great experience and I would highly recommend it to sushi lovers!

Been here twice for the 17 course Omakase and both times were incredible. The sushi is so fresh and delicious with so many flavor profiles in each bite. Our chef was very fun and funny and made the entire experience even better! We also tried the Big Mac and it did not disappoint!

This spot offers a hip and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a unique dining experience. The restaurant features an omakase-only menu, with a choice of 12 or 17 pieces, and a dining time limit of one hour. The chefs are highly knowledgeable, providing detailed insights into the sourcing of the seafood, which adds an educational touch to the meal. Alongside the expertly prepared dishes, there’s a great selection of drinks to complement the experience.
