Sushi Babe Karaoke is hands down one of the best places to go and gather with friends and relatives who like delicious, flavorful food in a relaxed, clean and friendly environment. I highly recommend the place because as soon as you come in the ambiance welcomes you with a cozy and inviting feeling that gives you a sense of belonging. Edward the bartender is the first one to greet you with his warm smile and refreshing drinks while Christopher cooked one of his special dishes off the menu. As I looked at the menu I saw a burger that caught my eye, it was called the Juarez burger. Much to my surprise it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted. Aside from a thick meat patty it had hot dogs and ham. I could barely finish my fries after devouring the burger. After feasting on the delicious burger and washing it down with a couple of vodka cranberries, I took the courage to grab the mic and sing off key at the karaoke that was Veejayed by Nicole. Well, after making an ass of myself and as soon as the song was done, the staff made me feel like a rock star and cheered me on.
Believe me when I say that when the evening was over, I never felt more at home at any other place than that evening at Sushi Babe’s. I dedicate this review to all the wonderful staff and to the lovely owner Zaphyro who made me feel more than welcomed at their establishment, they made me feel like family. God bless you all and whenever I’m back in El Paso believe me when I say, I will definitely go back and visit my home away from home.

We had a great time! The bartender was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive, even when it got busy. The food was delicious, and the karaoke was a blast. We loved the surprise “Happy Birthday” sing-along for our daughter! Highly recommend for a fun night out—we will definitely be back. (Note: Men’s room needs soap.)

The atmosphere is great and the food was decent (aside from the cold quesadilla), however my issue was with the up charges and the dishonesty with gratuity. I went here on a Tuesday night which was otherwise pretty empty. I had ordered two drinks and some fries. When I saw that my total came out to $73 For just two drinks and fries I was confused. The bartender asked if I’d like an itemized receipt and it’s only then that I see she had charged gratuity AND a tip. The bartender said “there’s signs everywhere stating gratuity is included” that was lie, as I looked around and no sign was posted. Not even on their front door. When I told her to remove the $14 tip, she said she’ll remove the gratuity instead because it benefited HER. I was appalled. The gratuity was $8 but she wanted to keep the $14! I told her no again that I wanted the tip removed since the gratuity was already included. Instead she said “I’ll tell you what, I’ll make the tip $2 instead” which means she still got $10 from me. Mind you, the rest of my group had already paid AND left a tip unknown to them the had been charged gratuity. This was scummy practice and left a bad taste in my mouth. I will never return. Save yourself the money. Plenty of people have complained of being uncharged and scammed

It’s a shame this happened to us twice but well this time I was more disappointed in the outcome. My siblings and myself loved this place because we came here since the opening. We love a good karaoke place where we can have a good time and hands down the renovations are great. It is sad that both times we have been here we have been overcharged. The first time it was a group of about 12 or us and all of us got charges added for drinks that were said to be on special and weren’t. first time we accepted it as bartender informed us it was a new system and did not know how to operate refund. We came back a second time hoping it would be better but no. Sadly my card got charged for double the tab by mistake plus 4 additional drinks we did not order. Waitress stated she would check cameras but never showed proof and just said that was the check. We were tired and wanted to go home and process took about 30 minutes. Again we just paid because we were going in circles, but I truly think is not a right way of handling a situation like this. We were told no manager was on premises so nothing could be done. Again we paid after showing bartender charges charged on bank app. A tab for 4 beers said to be 30 dollars ended up being 84 dollars. Charges will be disputed by bank for reimbursement. Sadly I don’t think we will be returning.

Just a little recommendation to have something to let the bartender/server know that the food is ready. Sometimes I’ve seen plates just sitting there at the kitchen window for a long time. Yesterday we had cold steak tacos and cold angus sushi and cold loaded steak fries. Other than that, everything was good! Thank you!

What an amazing place! The owner and daughter duo were not only incredibly talented singers but also provided exceptional service. Their warmth and hospitality made the atmosphere truly special. This is definitely a spot I’ll return to if I’m ever back in El Paso. Highly recommend — everyone should visit this gem!

The El Paso angus roll was so good I forgot to take pictures 10/10. Prices were more than reasonable. The vibe was chill, drinks were good, karaoke was spectacular, and service was amazing. Definitely plan on becoming a regular!

The daughter of the owner gave us false information about parking. She also was inappropriate towards my husband she offered him a shot and was pushing him to drink in a flirty way. When he rejected her she began to act rude towards me. I doubt she’ll take accountability for her actions but it was very unprofessional and I don’t understand how someone who runs the show can act in such a way. Hopefully it was just the day and not her true personality. She now states she acted professionally on that day yet I never mentioned a day. And I know you cannot sue unless your business was impacted greatly because of me. So I will continue to speak the truth I’m not scared of threats. Also have a screen shot of an apology why apologize if you did nothing wrong? also I did not pay with mine or my husbands card we were treated so how could she even know who I am?
