The servers are great—friendly and professional—but the food is absolute trash. Look at this. I couldn’t even eat it. The meat was undercooked, the burrito was sloppy, and it was drowning in white sauce. It’s sad, because the place and the servers deserve better. The cook is an amateur and clearly has no respect for customers if they think serving a burrito like this is acceptable.

Great place! I ordered a dish with fish, vegetables, and mashed potatoes — I don’t remember the exact name, but everything was absolutely delicious. The fish was perfectly cooked — juicy with a nice sear. The veggies were fresh and tasty, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and flavorful. Big and satisfying portion. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Highly recommend!

We love this place. There’s something for everyone even if you don’t like Mexican food! There’s pasta and burgers too, and it’s all cooked to order, so you’re not getting any premade stuff. Their pasta is better than the Italian place I went to in La Crosse in my opinion. Annie was our waitress. She is very kind and attentive, and checked on us regularly.

Food is decent at best, the Mexican food was not hot but luke cold. The service was good but food ruined the occasion. The food normally in a Mexican restuarant is fresh and hot. This restuarant is not typical.

It’s not often as truck driver’s that we come across restaurant’s like this Cantina here, so we were excited to have a nice sit down meal of authentic Mexican flavor’s. I ordered the steak taco plate and my partner ordered the sizzling steak fajitas. And WOW! the steak on both dishes were flavorful and so tender. The corn tortillas were fresh, soft and warm. Everything came out piping hot. The guacamole, the pico de gallo, the salsa and chips was great!!. Service was on point….they checked up on us throughout our meal, refilled our drink’s, I had a couple of Coors light beers and those mountains on the sticker were super blue which means nice and cold! As long haulers we eat a lot of different food across the nation and for you Wisconsin folk’s, this is where it’s at! We will be saving this into our favorite folder to stop again and eat. Truckers, get inside this cantina and get yourself some really good food. You will not be disappointed. It was great all around!
