Very special dining experience however we felt the menu contained too many small plates, several that we didn’t particularly like. However, the nigiris are unbelievable, the quality of the fish is perfect, and the service is top notch. Nigiris are simply fish, rice, and wasabi. No frills, quality and tasty! The chef is very kind and humble as well as the rest of the staff.

It was first time for us to visit here after the chef changed. We were kind of in doubt after the original chef left but we can gladly say they kept the quality up. Each sushi is really great and the small dishes were amazing too especially the Uni rice was to die for.

This place is such a gem — it’s my second time coming here after what I hear of some change ups and honestly loved it more than my first time. Staff are so attentive, entertained me practicing my very rusty Japanese, and I left super full. The uni was absolutely INCREDIBLE — so fresh and sweet. There wasnt one nigiri or dish I didn’t like, everything was incredible

Price is okay, decent for a Michelin. Food tastes pretty good and is visually pleasing. The servers and chef are very attentive to details.

I loved my experience here at Sushi Amane. I know their chef is changed but still the food remains it quality. Every cut is legit for the fish and sushi rice is done to the point. It fits my expectations for a michelin one star establishment. Service is great and attentative. I can barely hear the walking sound of the waitress. It gives great sushi if you are around the area.

Sushi amane has a very special place in my heart. To start, the chef was very attentive. He made sure to serve each course at the pace of my group, and with who the faster eater is. You can also tell he is very proud of his work- even under his mask you can see how much joy he got seeing us enjoy our meals.

Really stunning omakase that indulges every taste bud in your mouth. This restaurant is hidden in the basement underneath a different sushi restaurant. You must reserve ahead of time, up to a maximum of 4 people per party. The sushi bar we sat in has enough seating for maximum of 8 people.

great experience dining in the place. if you’re looking for more premium dining experience for Edomae Omakase, you should move your self to $400+ omakase sushi bar. Sushi Amane offers very affordable price with premium appetizers and nigiris. you should be thankful to have such a premium quality sushi served with just $200!

This place was highly recommended. No doubt the quality of the fish is very good although I have seen better in other places. I was a bit disappointed with the standards. Example the rice feel of the Nigiri sushi few times. Something which should not happen after high end quality sushi restaurant. The decor and atmosphere is a traditional Japanese sushi counter. Service was very friendly and efficient. One issue which how is that surprised me was when I asked for the bill. I was presented with a bill, I gave my credit card, The waitress took the credit card and swapped it through the machine and brought the bill back to me. I asked there do I need to sign it and she said yes. So I signed the bill picked up my stuff and started to leave. Half way on the stairs I was surprised with the waitress chasing me and almost shouting that the tip is not included in the bill. I have no issue with paying a tip but they should have explained that when they presented the bill rather than choosing a customer on the stairs. I found this to be unprofessional.
