Our 2nd time here, glad to see it busy on a Friday evening. Servers were very friendly and menu definitely looks expanded from the first time we came (which was over 4 yrs ago). Chicken teriyaki was generous in portion but nothing special, steamed broccoli and carrots over white rice with chicken and drizzled with sauce. Would be better if veggies were grilled or roasted as dish was rather bland and not very interesting. Sushi seemed fresh, really enjoyed the rolls but the Nigeria rice was too much of a hard little ball of rice with no flavor of Sushi vinegar, no Wasabi and just like a squeezed ball of hard rice that actually detracted from the raw fish. Also my favorite roll is Salmon Skin Roll and theirs was simply salmon skin with sauce and rice and nothing else. The other Sushi places typically have at least some cucumber and Masago or some other ingredients to make it more interesting.

Every time I come here, the fish tastes incredibly fresh. I don’t even use soy sauce and wasabi because it doesn’t need it. Great hidden gem in Lafayette.

A local friendly Japanese restaurant with casual atmosphere, fantastic service and delicious food. There are a lot of vegetarian options. The staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend it. Don’t forget to have the mango mochi ice-cream to top of your meal with!

Packed on a Friday night, the staff was working very hard. We got a nice seat outside which ended up working perfectly. I wouldn’t say the sushi was life changing but it was definitely well above average quality, and the tea and vegetable tempura we had were both great. I’d definitely go back!

Everything is so fresh. From the tea, to salad & dressing (also a generous portion), and the sushi rolls. Sushi was served at the PERFECT temperature! Pieces were also the perfect size, not too big or small. We will definitely be going again

You need to stop here and get the Unicorn Roll before you leave! It was so good. I was only in Colorado overnight, so I had to stop back in on my way back home to get more. Everything was very good and nicely presented. We wolfed through the big tray we ordered before thinking about taking pictures.

I have only ever ordered take out but the food is always so good. My favorite is the veggie roll and the spring rolls. I tried a few of the other vegetarian rolls and they have all been delicious.

This spot was walkable from my Airbnb so I decided to give it a try. The two rolls I had were tasty (avocado/eel and tempura shrimp/California roll), and so was the crab rangoon. I wasn’t brave enough to try nigiri so far from the coast.

Wanted to try a new sushi spot, so we ended up here. Atmosphere was a little confusing…fast casual vibes and it was busy when we arrived, so we weren’t sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or not. Staff seemed overwhelmed so service was understandably on the slow side but friendly and attentive. I really appreciated the reusable laminated/dry erase sushi ordering sheets. Took a while to get our food, but the presentation was stunning! Sushi quality was just okay…the rice was overcooked/mush and very densely packed around the rolls, but my friend really enjoyed the kobe roll and the sweet potato roll was good. Avocado was a little overripe for my preference. We realized they forgot a couple of our rolls once they brought the check. Overall, it was fine, but there are better options in the area around the same price point.

Good rolls with nice proportions. Lunch specials are good deals. The edamame and spicy krab salad were on point, the shumai was a definitely not from scratch and would not recommend.
