Don’t let the fact that this establishment is located in a highway service area deter you. The food here is truly exceptional. All made to order, handmade, and generous portions. The staff take pride in offering great customer service and at very reasonable prices. The setting is clean and comfortable, kid friendly, and they do accommodate gluten and dairy allergies.

the chicken fried steak was hand breaded. the home fries had green peppers and onions. the eggs were cooked as ordered – over easy. our back booth style chair was comfy. from the outside the bldg looks like a plain old truck stop. the restaurant is inside in a small area but the food is so good. thank you for this happy surprise. we got 2 indian tacos to go.

4.3 stars. Don’t let the exterior and fact that this is a gas station eatery fool you. Celia was our waitress and recommended the chilaquiles with the green sauce. Absolutely delicious! A slight sweet with just the right amount of heat made for a solid breakfast. An order of Indian fry bed with honey for the solid win. Thank you Celia for an enjoyable breakfast before our morning of hiking.

Stopped here on the way back from Valley of Fire. Great selection on the menu, good prices and portions. Service wasn’t bad. They did forget an order but was quickly fixed. Most of the food was pretty good, some of the rice was hard. Not many choices in the area, so I would recommend and would come again if the opportunity presents itself.

These people were amazing. Our waiter was so friendly and sweet. Service was on point. The food was amazing. The photos speak for themselves. The chilaquiles were perfect. The sauce was the perfect balance of spicy and sweet. The tortilla chips were covered perfectly and had a very light but perfect crunch. Eggs were just how I asked them. The chicken fajitas had a lot of flavor as well as the homemade salsa they had. I had a great experience.

Trust the reviews – it is THE place for a meal after a hot morning in the Valley of Fire. We had the carnitas plate and street tacos (not on the menu, just ask) and both were delicious. It’s a little hidden as you won’t see any sign for the restaurant once you pull into the gas station plaza – just look for the door to the liquor store and you’ll get there.

is absolutely inexcusable, and if any of these guys end up in an accident the inconsiderate people and staff should be tried for manslaughter.
