F -if there was something less than F Sushi 101 would be it. The sushi is tasteless. Hubs ordered a teriyaki chicken dish and the rice tasted like a mix of fish and sesame oils were used and not sparingly. The chicken was rubbery. The teriyaki sauce was a mix of dish soap, sweet, and fishy. The fish oil overpowered everything else. We ended up taking everything home and feeding the puppy what she would eat. Even the dog wouldn’t touch the sushi though. You can try to hide the low quality fish under a ton of sauce but ultimately it’s still low quality food and higher than most prices.

Food tasty, had sushi, ramen noodle bowl, tempura shrimp. Very fast service! Atmosphere was basic, small but was fine, it wasn’t very crowded. I will go back and recommend.

My son & I have been enjoying Sushi 101 for years! We honestly have always had a good experience. We tend to like to sit out on the patio, if the weather is nice, but they have a fun atmosphere. To start, we HAVE to order the pan fried gyoza and edamame. If you are not a sushi fan, they have some delicious teriyaki and noodle bowls. The Crunch California Roll has a fried exterior that is always a fun texture to add to any meal. It’s a great spot!

Food was ok. I had spicy tuna, vegetable tempura, cucumber roll and a mixed ginger salad. The spicy tuna was like black and didn’t taste good. The vegetable tempura was like they threw all veggies together and fried them and cut them into blocks. Definitely wasn’t traditional. It batter was ok. My ginger salad was drenched in dressing. I only took a few bites. The only thing I enjoy was the cucumber roll. The service was ok. Definitely won’t be back. I left hungry.

A nice, friendly place to come and enjoy sushi as well as other Asian dishes! The rolls are very reasonably priced, so you won’t break the bank if you’re hungry. Alcohol choices are available, too. They have a very friendly server staff, and the contemporary atmosphere is nice. Oh…. And, don’t forget a bowl of Miso Soup!
