My brother took me out for breakfast at Susan’s while I was visiting him in Fayetteville. He explained how he goes here frequently with his friends and really wanted me to try it. I’m glad I did! The restaurant definitely looked bigger on the inside than the outside, and I certainly wasn’t expecting the grandma vibe that came on the inside, but I liked it! I ordered the Blueberry French Toast special they had that day, alongside eggs and bacon. My brother ordered an omelet with a side of biscuits and gravy. The omelet turned out to be HUGE, as seen in the photo, and honestly, I was jealous. My French toast was great, but honestly, a little too sweet for me. The blueberry sauce also made it cool down much faster, so by the time I was done eating it, it was also kind of soggy. The bacon I ordered was also very thin and flimsy, so that was also a little disappointing. But, it was all made up for when my brother told me that I NEEDED to get the cinnamon roll, and I understood why. It was HUGE, bigger than my hand huge. The size did justice for the taste as well. It was extremely fluffy, and luckily not smothered with icing, making it perfectly balanced. Definitely coming back just for the cinnamon roll!

Very good well known breakfast place. It’s a game day favorite. I had the ham and cheese omelette with a side of French toast. It was outstanding.

This was such a lovely place to go for lunch with our toddler!
The waitress immediately made us feel like we were old friends, I loved talking with her as well as other customers! It was a very comfortable and happy vibe.
The food was also delicious and came out quickly even though it was packed! I had the burger with fries, my husband had the French toast, and my toddler had the macaroni and grapes.
I truly appreciate all of the little details and how in the flow all of the wait staff was while still being personable and chatty. We can’t wait to come back on another day!

I’ve been going to this restaurant for 20 years. The food is consistently great. Sunday daily special turkey and dressing is the BOMB; I’ve had most everything on their menu and it’s all good, plus fantastic homemade desserts. The staff is always friendly, the service is always prompt. It’s an NWA treasure and institution.

The building is okay, needs updating. The wait area needs updating. The parking lot is too small. Service is very good as is the food.

Title: A Culinary Gem Worth Every Visit!

Review:

I’ve been a regular at Susan’s Restaurant for quite some time now, and it’s my go-to place for many reasons. Not only does it boast an array of great food, but the service is also outstanding. In an era where every penny counts, Susan’s stands out by offering incredibly reasonable prices for the generous portions served. It’s a delightful surprise each visit, truly a haven in today’s inflation-driven world.

Today, I decided to try the French toast casserole special, and it was nothing short of unbelievable. The dish, prepared with Texas toast soaked overnight in French toast batter, ensures that the rich, enticing flavor permeates every inch of the thick bread. My wife, typically not a fan of thick French toast due to its usual lack of flavor in the center, was thoroughly amazed. The mastery in preparation made a world of difference, turning her skepticism into admiration.

My wife opted for the chicken fried chicken special, a dish that stood out for its thin, tender, and flavorful chicken, perfectly balanced with its breading. The thinness of the chicken not only enhanced its flavor but also perfected the chicken to breading ratio, making every bite a delightful experience.

And let’s not forget the hazelnut cake – a recommendation we can’t emphasize enough. This three-layer marvel, made with coffee and Nutella, is a testament to the culinary artistry at Susan’s. It’s a must-try for anyone visiting.

In conclusion, Susan’s Restaurant consistently exceeds expectations with its culinary delights, exceptional service, and value for money. Whether you’re a regular like me or planning your first visit, Susan’s promises an experience that will leave you eagerly anticipating your next meal there. A solid 5-star experience through and through!

First time here . Stopped for breakfast after early morning appointment. This hidden gem did not disappoint! My hubby had steak, eggs, hash browns, and side of biscuits and gravy. I had eggs, bacon, cinnamon roll( oh so gooey and humungous!) and side of fruit. This will be our #1 go to for future breakfast down home goodness!

The omelets are stuffed! Very good biscuits and gravy. Get there early on the weekends. It gets busy. The kitchen is so fast. Maybe 10 minutes for food to come out. I recommend a sausage, cheese, and jalapeño omelet. With sour cream and green salsa on the side. Perfect combination.

This place was great. We’re in town for a few days and wanted to try all the local places. This place didn’t disappoint. We went for breakfast. The hostess, our waitress, the food expeditor, the lady refilling coffee and the woman who rang us out were all super friendly.

The craziest thing was how fast our food came out. I’ve never had food at a sit down restaurant served so quickly. I got the chicken fried chicken and eggs and my wife got the country Benedict. Both were good.

When we move to NWA, we’ll definitely be back.

We went here after getting a recommendation from the staff at Community Clinic recommended it and we’re glad we did! Someone waiting for their table said that everything on the menu is good and they were right! I got the chicken salad sandwich and it was good and the fries were very tasty. I wish I had room for dessert the pies looked so good! Fair prices too.
