I love Montanas, we go to the St Cathrine’s location all the time. This location was disappointing to say the least, at first everything was fine, we were sat quickly our server was very friendly and came up to us to let us know she would be right with us.
We got our drinks and put in our appetizer order for a spinach dip, we get our appetizer and it’s not even warm at all, pita were also over done and cold. We just ate it because we were starving
The food comes and my wings did not taste right and they were a little cold. After our server dropped off our food we never really saw her again, she never checked on us, my boyfriend’s beer sat empty for quite some time. When we done with our food we sat there almost 15 -20 minutes. So by this time we haven’t seen our server in quite some time. It seems she forgot about us but it wasn’t until we asked to speak to management that she seemed to remember us.
The manager did remove the beer and the spinach dip. we were grateful for that. However the service and the quality of food compared to other experiences at the same chain was rather disappointing. I work as a server myself, I hate complaining but it was just a very bad experience.

A friend and I had such a fantastic experience tonight. Our server Jessica was such a kind women who did an overall fantastic job! She was keen to keep an eye on her tables, accommodating, and brought such a warmhearted atmosphere to the table. The food my friend got was very good I was told and my nachos were incredible!

My family and I came in last night for dinner and our server Ashley was absolutely spectacular! From the moment we sat down she provided excellent service and was on top of everything. She was able to make our dinning experience so fun and gave us the best recommendations on food options and drinks, all of our food was delicious and the steak and ribs were incredible. We can’t wait to come back again and definitely ask for Ashley because of how pleasant and top notch she made our experience! We look forward to coming back and recommending to our family and friends as well!

We had such a great experience at Montana’s, and a big part of that was our server, Ryan! From the moment we sat down, he was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He checked in at the perfect times, made great menu suggestions, and made sure everything came out exactly as we ordered.
Ryan went above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable — quick with refills, patient with questions, and always smiling. It’s rare to find service that feels both professional and personable. He truly made our night out even better.
We’ll definitely be back and will be asking for Ryan again!

First time here at the upper James location and it didn’t let us down at all!! Brett was our server tonight keeping the family entertained every pass by the table! The food was great and came out promptly and perfect cooked! We had the honkin beef rib… oh yeah!!! Steak, chicken tacos, and a kids pizza! Brisket burnt ends to start with was a nice touch having the dill pickle slaw on it!! Definitely will be back soon!!!

Absolutely disgusting !!! For the amount of money we paid this is not even the serving size we get in the restaurant. It’s not even 1/4 of the container!!!!! Purchased on Jan 31st around 3:45pm And we waited quite while for the cashier FOR THIS !!!!! This is robbery and looks absolutely nasty

Ashley was an excellent waitress last night. Orders were taken correctly and food was done and served perfectly. Even the steak was done to perfection. I sent a message back to tell the cooks they were doing an excellent job. Everything about the experience was top notch. Can’t wait to go back.
