Found this gem using Google, otherwise wouldn’t have known it was there, there is no sign outside. The building and interior are dated for sure but the host was extremely nice and helpful and the food was excellent, plentiful, and not expensive at all. Definitely recommend!

Surfside Beach cafe serving the locals breakfast/lunch for over 14 years. We lived just the road from this establishment for two years and never knew what it was or if it was even open. No visible road sign, thanks to one of the hurricanes I was told, open sign in the window turned off and not a single vehicle in the parking lot on a Saturday afternoon. Venturing inside the place has a dated, worn look and feel. Furnishings look to be the original and the ceiling fan hanging over the cash register is lopsided because it is missing a blade. New carpet and a deep cleaning would be an improvement. Once we realized it was open, we went in and was seated in a booth. Service was friendly and we were given the breakfast menu on a Saturday afternoon. Which was fine, as the Home Frier omelette and a side of biscuits and gravy served the purpose. Was more than surprised with the full plate of the 3 egg omelette nicely filled with home fried potatoes, ham, bacon, sausage, peppers and cheddar cheese. Biscuits were more of a cornbread texture and look as they were square with a smothering of old fashion gravy. Good flavor. And you can’t beat the prices.

Delightful country charm with mom&pop nostalgia, and best homecooked food EVER! We walked in 1 minute before closing on Christmas Day, but instead of being turned away, we were warmly greeted and welcomed. The original antique decor brings the homey feel of grandma’s kitchen. Our omelets were STUFFED with meaty, tasty fixings. The homefried potatoes with bacon & onions were divine. Pancakes were tasty and very fluffy. The service was quick and friendly. We stumbled upon this on Google Maps, was one of few places open on a holiday, and it turned out to be one of the BEST, most satisfying meals we’ve ever had in 50 yrs! Can’t beat this value anywhere.

Only complaint is that my table was a little sticky. Other than that it was like being back at my grandma’s house when I was 10. It was great. $5.99 for a huge plate of pancake, eggs and bacon is crazy these days and it was delicious.

I wasn’t sure about the place when we first walked in. There wasn’t anyone else in the restaurant…it was before 8:00 am though so I thought maybe it’s just too early. Later more people came in and it was obvious they were regulars and were friendly with the staff. I ordered the country biscuit with home fries and it was excellent. Sausage was great quality and the biscuit was home made and fresh. I’m giving this place 5 stars based on the food. The atmosphere was homey and I felt like I was at my grandparents house. It might not be for everyone but I felt relaxed and at home there.

No outside sign to let you know you are there. Customer service was not very good. It was not busy and had to wait on refills. Bathroom walls needed clean. We had a hair in a biscuit and my sweet tea had grounds in it. I would not recommend.

Food is Southern comfort food, always great. Owner works hard to maintain the operation. I will always support the privateers versus the chain restaurants.

Very nice food. It says bikers welcome, but when I went it seemed like a very quaint place. It really reminds you of your nana and grandfathers home southern cooking. The breading on the chicken and pickles were to die for. I just wish I would’ve ordered fried green tomatoes too.

If you’re looking for a perfect off the beaten path breakfast spot, Surfside Jenny’s is it! I was craving some down home breakfast with great service and this place provided. Personal service and great food. Willing to work with larger groups and that good home cooking feel. This is my new Myrtle Beach breakfast spot!

Food was delicious, portions were good, and can’t beat the price. We had great service. The restaurant really needs updated. They also need to do a thorough cleaning. It was really dirty. It restaurant where customers sit is dirty, what is kitchen like?
