Voted the best tacos in Hawaii, SURFCLUB is serving Mexico-city inspired cuisine using locally sourced ingredients. Our lobster tacos and lobster quesadillas are a must-try using homemade salsa, local tortilla, and fresh seafood. We’re always looking for ways to support our local fisherman, farmers, and tortilla makers as we source our ingredients locally from Maui beef and local ulu to Kaua’i shrimp. Best of all, we have vegetarian and vegan options without sacrificing on taste. Take our challenge and try all three of our veggie tacos (breadfruit, sweet potato, and cauliflower) with a side of our homemade vegan cinnamon-coconut horchata. You won’t even miss meat!

Cute spot for a quick light meal in Paia. There’s sufficient parking across the street. I got the make your own Açaí bowl. I found it was a little more expensive than a few of the other places I visited in Maui. The açaí itself was a little frozen, but they had a good amount of toppings that came with it and the staff were incredibly friendly.

Not sure when they updated from surf club tacos to just surf club paia, but seems like they do more local foods in general these days. We tried the smoked meat plate, but unfortunately they forgot to include the green salad—just meat and rice for about $19. Food was fine otherwise, but there was also some great live music.

Not sure why they haven’t updated their website but the menu in person and the menu online are completely different. They have moved away from tacos to offering other food. Food was fine, coffee was terrible.

The Owner/Manager Knew my son had an ALL nut Allergy. (Even my young son told her several times before ) It was marked on the order and talked about SEVERAL times. But Still serves him the pesto bagel with nuts that takes 40 minutes to make? Instead of making a new one or apologizing and owning up to the mistake made. She told the kitchen to just swap the bottom part since the pesto is on the bottom. She proceeded to hide behind the kitchen counter and not wanting to talk about the situation since SHES the one who took the order. So this is for you ! You deserve 0 stars! Busy or not you don’t treat customers like garbage. We will make sure to NEVER SUPORT your business again. I don’t care for your refund either, my child could have died because of YOUR mistake! Do better.

Cute soot but I got açaí bowl and it was not fresh at all and didnt taste good. It was more expensive than any other store in the area. Will never recommend to try it.

We stopped at this place on our way through town and it was a good choice. They have nice fresh, and healthy options on Mexican food. With an island flair of course.

ZERO stars. Ordered the Kailua pork nachos and burger/fries. My son has a severe (deadly) egg allergy, which I discussed with the girl taking the order-who also prepared our food. Soon as my son is eating his nachos his tongue swells up. I ask her again “are there eggs in these nachos??” She says no. She texts owner to confirm who also says no. I ask “is there mayonaisse”? She texts owner and reply is YES. Mayonnaise is made with eggs. These nachos are covered in mayo sauce. We Epi our son and head to the ER at Maui Memorial as fast as we can.
