The cook at Hibachi didn’t pay attention to the food order and served spicy food that I don’t eat. When the dish came back, he was upset. A little more peace and quiet would be nice; if you don’t like the job, change it.

If you want a bigger tip, maybe be more friendly. My family comes here all the time simply because it’s close. Food is always mediocre but for the price you can’t beat it. However, the service here seriously sucks. These ladies have no shame, my mother left a cash tip and they came back with her card asking for more. When I told her the cash was her tip, she said yes but it’s Christmas— insinuating I need to give more. I am a server myself and understand how tips are a big part of this job because servers are severely underpaid, but having a nasty attitude will never get you more money. Nobody is obligated to tip, especially for such a poor job. They brought us the wrong drinks, only came to take our plates (without asking, just walked up, took the plate and walked away but there is a language barrier so I give them that) and rushed us to eat even when it was dead. If the workers want more money, they should either get a different job or work on their customer service more.

I see so many of the similar comments that happened to us today! Service wasn’t even good at all, our server didn’t even come to check up & give us refills unless we called her over, & once my bf asked for the check the server literally stood over him & once he had paid with what he had tipped the lady still said don’t forget tip! Like what!? What restaurant does that, what restaurant pressures you to tip more than what u deserve!? Uh uh whoever manages this needs to open their eyes & see our comments & realize something has to be done! Or close the restaurant down, w/e there’s better buffets honestly, so that is all!

Disappointing experience at Super Hibachi Buffet. The sushi was noticeably not fresh, which is a major concern for a buffet. To make matters worse, the staff was quite rude and actually pressured us for more tips despite the poor service and food quality. A tip should reflect the experience, and unfortunately, this didn’t meet the bar.

Very disgusting place, the food is not fresh, sushi was stale, fries were stale, waiters chased a costumer down after they left because they refused to tip her more. Do not waste your time coming here, the food is not good at all, the service is rude and disgusting, they were pushy with always grabbing our plates (I wasn’t done eating) and I went on my phone for less then a minute and she right away took my plate..?? When we were done paying she kept repeating “more cash???” Asking us to add more to the tip..

Tips should be based on the quality of service and the effort involved, not the pre-tax subtotal or the final total, because a higher price doesn’t always mean more service. Excellent restaurant with higher prices but good quality food and waitresses takes advantage of this higher prices that they think higher prices higher tipping more then just the services. Management should talk to their employees about this.

Unfortunately, I feel I must share this experience to warn others.

My son and I visited this buffet two days ago. At first, the place seemed unusual – the parking lot was nearly empty, and the entrance doors were visibly dirty. We hesitated but decided to give it a try, based on previous positive experiences with other buffets.

Inside, the restaurant was mostly empty. Despite a sign saying they were hiring (especially kitchen staff), several employees were just standing around near the entrance, scrolling through their phones. They didn’t speak English, and I’m not sure what language they were using – possibly Vietnamese or Filipino.

We went to get food, but sadly, many of the dishes seemed to have been sitting out for too long. Some items were cold or had an odd smell, and we ended up leaving most of the food on our plates. It felt unsafe to eat. The meats were overly sweet and covered in strange sauces. Even the fruit was off – strawberries were soaked in sugary syrup and the cherries were not fresh.

What made things even more uncomfortable was that one of the staff members was following me closely while I was serving myself, watching everything I picked. That felt invasive and awkward.

When we sat down, a woman brought the bill right after we got our fruit. I paid with my card, and she came back and stood next to our table, waiting. I didn’t understand why at first, but it became clear she was waiting for me to leave a tip. I left a small tip (which I wasn’t obligated to do), and she immediately grabbed the receipt, squinted at the tip amount, then loudly said something in her language to a group of women nearby. They all turned to look at us and started talking and staring.

That felt incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. We quietly finished and left, but the stares continued as we walked out. No one said thank you or goodbye.

Afterwards, I experienced stomach issues — and although I can’t be 100% sure it was the food, I certainly wouldn’t risk returning.

I’ve been to many restaurants and traveled a lot, and I’ve never encountered such a disappointing experience. It felt unwelcoming, unhygienic, and honestly, a bit hostile. I hope this helps others make informed decisions.

Our “server” has the audacity to ask for extra tip on top of what I had already written down. As a server myself I would never ask my customer that. It’s outrageous. The food is okay I’ve been to better buffets.

GOT NOROVIRUS FROM EATING HERE!!! Absolutely disgusting!!! Sat down with three full plates of food and left with three full plates of food still on the table, and every bit of it was in my mouth but spit out!
The crab rangoon i can tolerate, the white steamed rice wasn’t bad and the frog legs were actually good. Every other bit of meat was not what it should have been and was absolutely disgusting. The fish was all frozen and felt dry and spongy, while being soaked with water. I can’t believe this place is still open! *** i have been sick all week after eating here with severe diarrhea for 6 days now and it is confirmed, I have contracted norovirus from this place! DO NOT EAT HERE, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Definitely wouldn’t recommend. Food wasn’t good, not even the Coke tasted right! After the bill is dropped off and you pay, the server waits around in order to chase you after you get up to tip her. Bad service. Definitely wouldn’t come back.
