I went here on a sleepy Tuesday night, but that didn’t diminish the vibe of the place. I loved the rock and roll motif in the restaurant decorations and the pizza names.
I had the Crazy Train. Crazy as in spicy. It looked amazing and tasted even better. The friendly bar staff helped me select a local brew, but I’m sorry I don’t remember the name.
It was July with all the doors open and the weather was fantastic! Cool place to visit while in Tacoma.

Amazing birthday dinner at the rock. We had the queen of hearts buckets and a bottle of champagne to celebrate. For pizza I got the buffalo soldier and my buddy got the thunderstruck both are amazing. My gluten free friend got the stairway to heaven with a GF crust which we were happy they offer. Finished everything off with a cookie skillet, which I am still dreaming about!

I decided to go to the Rock for pizza!! I got a small pepperoni pizza a order of fries and a two liter of coke for $30. I had a coupon for $5 off and then happened to have a gift card for $25 that I received for Christmas. Some times When you least expect it you might need to use the gift card and coupons to splurge on your family. Thankfully they were super nice and didn’t say anything regarding how I was paying. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Some time you just can’t help needing a little help at the end of the month. Ya it embarrassing admitting it! But sometimes things happen and we should never be embarrassed for it!! So thank you The Rock Wood fired Pizza!! Food was excellent and service was amazing! I definitely would recommend going there!!

Came in today with my kids for the All Youth Can Eat program. I love that this program is offered, but the experience was not what I expected.
First off, did they really serve us on paper plates with plastic utensils we didn’t even ask for? Washington law says single-use utensils should only be given if a customer requests them. It might not seem huge to some, but it’s the law and it matters for the environment.
Then, we were seated in the very back, far away from everyone else. It honestly felt like we were being hidden just because the meals were free. That’s not the message you want to send to families or kids who come in excited for a meal together.
Free or not, everyone deserves to feel welcome when they walk through the door.

I dined at the Rock this Saturday evening with four friends and we sat at the bar. Our service was phenomenal and we were celebrating a birthday. We all got buckets, you can’t go wrong with any of them. The lightning bucket was especially tasty. No appetizers are needed because these pizzas are made with quality ingredients and are very filling. I highly recommend the My Generation which is a chicken, bacon, ranch pizza. You should get an extra side of ranch or two or three because it is so good. Big kudos to the rock for comping our birthday friend’s cookie skillet and Jell-O shot, that’s awesome! Will happily dine at the rock again.

This was such a fun spot to eat at. The environment was lively and food was tasty. I didn’t realize the drinks would come in this fun bucket. It was super sweet, but not in a bad way. I really enjoyed it. Highly recommend to those in the area. We stopped by for a quick dinner and we’re not disappointed.

Had a “layover” waiting on other things. So I googled up restaurants nearby. Soooo happy I did.
The waitress Sarah was all over it. The hubs got an off the menu item and i ordered a custom pizza . We were both hesitant about what our mouths might experience. The stress wasn’t warranted. The pizza was top notch.
I saved my pizza crust to have as a snack later and was still pleased. It was just as delicious as the lunch I had a few hours before. The only downside…..the restaurant isnt closer to where i lay my head. Conclusion..

First time here. Brown sugar mozz bread was pretty addicting. I ate it as an appetizer and went back for more as a dessert! I tried it with marinara and ranch sauces- I prefer with the ranch. Their ranch tastes house made- really really good.
Also had margarita and the meaty Beaty big and bouncy pizzas. Comparing the Margarita to the pizza I had in Italy (best pizza, EVER btw), I give this one a 4/5. Their crust is crunchier than italys pizzas. My husband says he has nothing negative to say about his and he would order it again cause it has a lot of flavor. He’s looking forward to eating the leftovers tonight with a beer.

Not many places are open in downtown Tacoma at night that have great food, Superior service, and tasty drinks.
Just selected this place randomly as we were looking for something to eat late into Friday and Saturday evenings, all the selections of pizza are pretty darn good.
I ended up getting a tanker size drink special thing, it came with the bucket. It was really good it went perfectly with the pizza.
Next time I’m in town I’ll probably come here, just good stuff.

We stopped in for food on a Saturday evening. It wasn’t very busy so we were seated right away. However even though it wasn’t busy, it took awhile for a waitress to come to us…it took forever to get our food. We had to remind them to get refills a couple times. The staff seemed unfriendly and honestly annoyed we came in. I will not be visiting this place again. And I definitely won’t be recommending it! Do better!
