Stopped in for dinner The place is cool never a long wait Little congested in the area good food.. here I had the salmon w/ mixed vegetables white rice with heavy curry gravy… The jerk salmon, Caribbean is excellent Jamaican food pictured below.. spicy hot but not over the top I recommend!! I stop here to break monotony, half a dozen+ times and will again!

I remember I used to come to this spot when I was younger so I wanted to try their Ital Stew (vegan). When I arrived I found parking nearby. I walked in to asked if they took credit card and the lady said yes. I ordered the ital stew, rice and peas, kale and fried dumpling. I also ordered a pink Ting and water and it came to a little over $12. When I got home I dug in and I liked the fried dumpling. The ital stew wasn’t to my liking but I must say they gave me more than enough. I couldn’t even finish it all. All in all I had an ok experience.

Once I’ve started coming, I haven’t stopped literally. Between the food and the fresh smoothies…my household and coworkers now come here because of me. Great food. I do wish the jerk was a tad bit spicier but they explained to me that people were complaining so they tamed it down.

I love this place. They have a great smoothie selection from energy smoothies to stress relief smoothies! They’re food is also really good. They have vegetarian options as well as meat options all fresh and tasty. I had the chicken soup the other because I had a cold, whatever they put in that souped burned the cold out of me Lolol! I’d Definitely recommend!

I have not been to this place in a couple of years. I would come here often bc I always felt the food was decent more often than not. Today I remembered why I gradually stopped coming here. Nobody wants food with a negative vibe. To the women who work there..a select few. Drop the catty attitudes and take another customer service course. Try to pass it this time before you make yourself the downfall of that establishment. Food for thought.

Delicious, authentic Caribbean fare and exceptional customer service, that’s what you get at Sunsplash. I had the pleasure of tasting their vegetarian stew peas, served with rice n’ peas and a side of plaintains. It was absolutely delish, as was the plant-based, peanut punch. No wonder the food finishes fast. I will definitely be back to trying the highly recommended spinach patties, and more from the juicebar.

Haven’t tried everything, but the rice and beans, jerk chicken, oxtails, and plantains.I can say that 4 out of the 5 times I got it, I was satisfied.love my rice soaked in oxtail sauce if I’m going to enjoy my meal, but thats my preference.

The staff was friendly, the place was clean, the food was reasonably priced and their was almost no wait time. They only offered small and large sized meals. I ordered the large stew chicken, with rice and peas, cabbage and plantain. The portion size was big.However, I did not like the taste of the chicken, gravy or vegetables. The plantain was the best part of the meal. The part of the rice & peas that DIDN’T have gravy on it was okay. Some of the parts of the chicken near the bones were PINKish. The cabbage was undercooked and tasted kind of raw, a little like coleslaw. I tried putting adobo seasoning on it and microwaving the food but it did not help.Sadly, I had to through the food away. That is why I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
