Delicious, authentic Caribbean fare and exceptional customer service, that’s what you get at Sunsplash. I had the pleasure of tasting their vegetarian stew peas, served with rice n’ peas and a side of plaintains. It was absolutely delish, as was the plant-based, peanut punch. No wonder the food finishes fast. I will definitely be back to trying the highly recommended spinach patties, and more from the juicebar.

The only reason I’m giving a star is because of the Guava Mama smoothie , however I am extremely disappointed. I have been eating from here since 2013 so I am aware of the quality and am a well known advocate for this restaurant. Today I ordered two meals , a curry chicken with rice and peas and cabbage and oxtail with callaloo rice ,pumpkin stew and one dumpling. My boyfriend had the curry chicken and he said it was very bland and not spicy to him. I tasted it as well and even though it was slightly spicy it did not have any other flavor besides the curry. It was not tasty Or inviting for another spoonful. Now my oxtail OMG!!!!!! I could cry, it’s so bland I never would’ve guessed it was from Sunsplash. My heart was set on the mild sweet and spicy authentic taste but what I got wasn’t even desirable. It turned me off completely from the first bite. The pumpkin stew was not savory and sweet and garlicky as I had sampled before. And the boiled dumpling seemed to be old even though I was there at 1:15( lunch time) it was mushy as if it sat in the water overnight. I spent $50 and I could’ve went to somewhere else for better taste had I known. Truly deserve compensation for this unforgettable experience.

I remember I used to come to this spot when I was younger so I wanted to try their Ital Stew (vegan). When I arrived I found parking nearby. I walked in to asked if they took credit card and the lady said yes. I ordered the ital stew, rice and peas, kale and fried dumpling. I also ordered a pink Ting and water and it came to a little over $12. When I got home I dug in and I liked the fried dumpling. The ital stew wasn’t to my liking but I must say they gave me more than enough. I couldn’t even finish it all. All in all I had an ok experience.

Stopped in for dinner The place is cool never a long wait Little congested in the area good food.. here I had the salmon w/ mixed vegetables white rice with heavy curry gravy… The jerk salmon, Caribbean is excellent Jamaican food pictured below.. spicy hot but not over the top I recommend!! I stop here to break monotony, half a dozen+ times and will again!

I love this place. They have a great smoothie selection from energy smoothies to stress relief smoothies! They’re food is also really good. They have vegetarian options as well as meat options all fresh and tasty. I had the chicken soup the other because I had a cold, whatever they put in that souped burned the cold out of me Lolol! I’d Definitely recommend!

I was there today for an order of curry chicken with rice and peas. I paid for a large and was given 3 pieces of meat and one of the pieces was mainly bone. The light skin guy with dreads, red shirt and hat was very rude while ringing up my order, he was even giving me dirty looks. Is this place under new management because the service and food is no longer great. We are spending a lot of money for food, the service and quality should be better. That guy had no manners and I spoke to him respectfully and kindly the whole time.
