Nice restaurant with good ambiance and good service. Ordered the “jessica roll” that was supposed to come with avocado but I had a hard time finding any (you be the judge; photo attached).The tempura was cold and soggy. The entire roll was also drowned in eel sauce that was covering up any flavor of the roll, if there was any in the first place. The fish tasted fresh but I’ve had grocery store rolls that I enjoyed more than this.

We had a nice dining experience at Oni Sushi. The ambiance is relaxed yet stylish, making it a great spot for either a casual meal or a more special evening out. The menu had a wide selection of sushi, sashimi, and Japanese specialties, so there was something for everyone. We started with the miso soup and edamame, both fresh and flavorful, which set the tone for the rest of the meal.
The sushi rolls were beautifully presented and tasted as good as they looked. The service was friendly and attentive, and they really made sure our meal was enjoyable from start to finish. The tables were a little tired and the walls could use a little updating.

Oni is a good sushi spot in the downtown Claremont location. Got the yuzu sake for some drinks, which was a bit sweet for my liking but tasty and also got the hot sake, was ok. For sushi, we got the Lion King, spider (shown in photo), and rainbow roll. They all had good size pieces of fish, moderately fresh, and had a good mix of flavors. I think they could have had more of a selection of rolls (like diff combinations of seafood in the rolls) but the ones we got gave us enough variety. Got the green tea tempura ice cream for desert; tempura was nicely fried, green tea ice cream wasn’t too bad, and tasted good overall. Service was great! Our waitress was super nice and on top of it.

I ordered Korean seafood style ramen. It had 2 mussels, 6 tiny shrimp like the fake ones from cup nuddles, the scallops were tiny too. The sushi was ok. I ordered rainbow roll. I never come back.

Never eating here again, I got a fish bone stuck in my throat and ended up in the hospital. Spent 6 hours in the hospital so they could surgically remove it. This place is very dangerous to eat at. Thank God it wasn’t a child that got it stuck in their throat.

Located on a corner so this sushi delite you cannot miss! I was greeted with a smile upon entry and taken to my table. The inside decor is an exclusive in itself plus the energy is refreshing, they play music as well and that playlist is . The sushi was fresh, delicious, and had me smiling the whole time. This place is a must try for any occasion, so yes I highly recommend you come enjoy your own experience at this fine establishment!
