We have been coming here for over 15 years, & knew the original owners. There used to be a sign up with the distance to everyone’s home from different locations all over the US. Since it was sold, there are new owners (who we do not know), but the quality of the ice is still the same. I’ve always loved the flavors & will continue to come here.

I highly recommend stopping in Sunset Slush and getting a Classic Italian Ice with the heat I dex being 101 to 104 next week. The Staff and treats are awesome. Look for their carts along some of the beaches during the daytime here in Brunswick County NC. Zoom in on my photos to see the numerous flavors they offer. I had a large tangerine and my mate had a Cry Baby. The Cry Baby is 3 different flavors of a sour tasting Italian Ice and she said it was great. I’m a traditional kinda guy so I stuck with the Tangerine. Come on by and give them a try. If you read this review please give it a like as it tells me they are being seen. Stay Safe Sean

I would come here for every meal but unfortunately Italian ice is not a well balanced diet and I’d like to live past the age of 30. They have so many flavors to pick from and on my bucket list is trying all of them at least once. So far my favorite combination is swirled blue raspberry and green apple, the perfect mix of sweet and sour. My tounge is blue almost every day of the week just because I have so much italian ice. If I could become their mascot I’d happily do it as long as I got an endless supply of Italian ice and at least minimum wage. On a hot summer day this is the perfect treat to have.

Our family visits this location a lot (they have the Fireball flavor, not offered on island) and parking is easy, staff is helpful and friendly, and we like the shaded sitting area to enjoy our slush.
Pro tip: get a coozie & keep in your vehicle. It only takes a few visits for this to be more cost efficient than buying normal cups
