No clue on the atmosphere or food or service here… I don’t really drink and took a coworker without a car there the other day so I guess it picked up that I visited it when I was sitting in the parking lot. Heard about this place for years though, people seem to like it.

I ordered a burger for $6.00 and an order of fries for $5.00. I wasn’t impressed with the small handful of fries I received for that price.. Also being one of three customers our wait time was unacceptable. However the food tasted great! I will definitely eat here again, hopefully with better service and better portions.

Heading from Jackson and not many choices my daughter picked this place out by the fries on Google. Although it took more time than I had scheduled the food was really good. Mind you this is a small establishment and I don’t think food is their priority. That being said there was probably a table of 8 in front of us and only two ladies cooking. We watched them make fresh hamburger patties and cook right in front of us. The food was very good and worth the stop. As a bonus they had the Tennessee Vols and LSU game on that was an added bonus being from Tennessee. Hats off, good job.

Little understaffed for the amount of customers they got. One bartender for everybody in there and that’s just not enough You can’t even get to the bar to get a drink cuz people won’t get out of the way but that’s basic apathetic small town attitudes

Not sure who owns the joint but I asked for mead.. Never had to explain what it was so many times until I came to Douglas.
Sure enough a week later it was on the shelves and I’m probably the only person buying it but that doesn’t bother me. I can’t complain about the place.

The evening started out kind of slow with a few old time locals enjoying a drink and a smoke. Some dudes showed up at the back door and started hauling in guitars and amps. A couple hours later the joint was rockin’ and people were dancing and yelling. By the end of the night the place was packed and a fight broke out at the bar as the band wailed on “Free bird”. What a blast!
