My family and I had a delightful dining experience at Sunset Ellis Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a family meal. We were especially blown away by their homemade peanut butter cake. It was out of this world! Another standout was Rocky’s Peppers, which added just the right kick to our meal. The menu offers a great variety of dishes that cater to all tastes, and everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable, making it a great value. The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning for more memorable meals at Sunset Ellis Restaurant!

I was on a road trip with my wife and daughter when I drove past the restaurant. It looked very quaint. So on our way back through Shinnston, we stopped in for lunch. It was very clean. Our waitress was so pleasant to talk to and attentive. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. If we’re ever in the area again, we all agreed that we will definitely stop by again.

This is a quaint diner located south of Shinnston WV. It is part of a drive-in theater.
The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. The food is home cooking and it is good food. One of our favorite places, just wish it was closer to us. It is worth the drive.

Was disappointed, fries were ice cold did not eat them, wings were little 1inch square chicken nuggets smothered in BBQ sauce. Roast beef special the potatoes werent mashed pieces of potatoes all through it and roast beef was just a piece of lunch meat. It looked pretty but that’s it.

Maybe because it’s newly reopened, but food and service was poor. We didn’t even get all ordered food and tried to charge for it. 1 in our group of 4 got his food when ours was just about finished being consumed. Granddaughter’s grilled cheese wasn’t even cooked! How do you mess up grilled cheese?!
