A Hidden Taco Gem – Why Didn’t I Come Here Sooner?!
OMG! I can’t believe I waited so long to try this taco spot! From the moment my husband and I walked in, we were warmly greeted with a friendly smile and a cheerful “hello.” At first, we weren’t even sure if the place was open, but once inside, we felt right at home.
The menu is simple, which I actually prefer—it makes deciding much easier! I ordered two asada tacos and two al pastor tacos, while my husband went all in with four al pastor tacos. I also couldn’t resist trying their fresh cucumber and lime water. Looking back, I wish I had ordered all al pastor because they were absolutely amazing!
We stopped by around 1:30 PM, which might explain why it wasn’t too busy. Our food came out quickly, and we headed to the salsa and condiment bar. The owner kindly warned us about the spicy habanero salsa, which, of course, I had to try—delicious and fiery!
Now, let’s talk about the star of the show: the al pastor tacos. The meat was bursting with flavor, and the small chunks of pineapple in every bite tied everything together beautifully. The tacos also came with a slice of grilled cactus (nopal), a grilled jalapeño, and half of a grilled onion—such a nice touch!
To top it all off, the owner was incredibly sweet. She even noticed I was cold and turned on the little space heater near me. Talk about amazing customer service! ( Side note: I’m always cold)
Needless to say, we’re definitely coming back. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re missing out.

Amazing authentic food. Everything I’ve had here is amazing, the service was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the street tacos because they’re definitely the best in Lincoln. Totally worth the visit and I’ll be back here in the future.

Authentic tacos! Literally a hidden gem for tacos! There is no sign and it is very easy to miss! Laid back atmosphere. You order and then seat yourself. The service was fast and the tacos were delicious. The coconut agua fresca tasted fresh made from scratch. Worth the stop! Forgot to take pictures of the tacos.

An amazing taco food truck (or tent, in this case!). Legit tacos that were among the best I’ve had outside of Mexico. Al pastor in particular is just perfect. Highly recommend. The tacos were so good that I had a burrito after four tacos. Just as good. Go here!!

Absolutely the best al pastor tacos I’ve ever had, I just wish they were not located on the property of the Royal Grove night club, I’ll be coming back here! Just get here before the club opens at 9 pm

I ate here after a comedy show at The Royal Grove. Our group ordered a total of 6 Barbacoa tacos, 4 Asada, and 3 Al pastor tacos. In total our group only ate 5 of the tacos, we couldn’t finish the rest of them. The tacos were way too greasy, pulling off the foil all the grease started dripping off the plate. I attached a picture of my hand for reference of how greasy my hands ended up just after pulling off the foil. The barbacoa just seemed too salty and had alot of fat on the meat. The good things there were the convenience of getting food right after a show and the red salsa

The food is below average and the staff is surprisingly unwelcoming. When I came up to order I was treated as an inconvenience and when I asked a question about the menu was insulted for not understanding.
There’s a lot better places for tacos in Lincoln.
