This is my favorite coffee shop in the RGV. Service is great and their menu includes everything from traditional coffee options to matcha and specialty lattes. ☕️They also offer desserts. (We tried the tres leches and strawberry cheesecake. Both were so good!)

There was plenty of room and outlets to charge laptops and phones. We stayed for several hours so I made myself at home with the pillows they had☺️

I absolutely love the wooded-outdoorsy theme. ️ The life size Sasquatch and marzapan latte have my heart!

Finally, a great coffee place in my town. Starts off with delicious coffee, a fantastic atmosphere and super friendly service. Great for pick up or to spend some time working remote. Try it out. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place! I walked in and was welcomed by the staff. I wasn’t sure what to get but they helped me decide and I ended up getting the strawberry matcha. It was delicious, I’d definitely wanna try the other drinks as well. If I’m not mistaken, I heard the chai latte is pretty good, or the Matcha Latte. Cool place to study in with the aesthetic that they have. Also try their pastries, I got an Oreo brownie :)))

Sunrise Cafe is exactly what a neighborhood café should be. Warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. The rustic wood details, natural light, and clean layout make the space feel comfortable without trying too hard to be trendy. It’s a place you actually want to sit in, not rush out of.

The menu is well put together and easy to navigate. Coffee is solid and well balanced, not burnt, not watered down. Matcha, chai, refreshers, and seasonal drinks are done right, with flavors that make sense instead of gimmicks. You can tell care goes into every drink.

The pastries and desserts really stand out. Cheesecakes, cakes, and individual treats are fresh, beautifully presented, and satisfying without being overly sweet. Portions are generous, and everything looks as good as it tastes.

The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. Great spot to catch up with friends, bring family, or even get some work done. Tables are well spaced, the place feels organized, and overall it’s just an easy place to enjoy your time.

Final thoughts:
Places like Sunrise Cafe are the reason supporting local businesses matters. When you invest your time and money in spots like this, you’re keeping quality, care, and community alive. Well run, consistent, and worth coming back to. Supporting local isn’t a slogan here. It’s the right choice.

Sunrise Cafe is one of my favorite spots! I go regularly, and their coffee always tastes good. The flavor is consistent every single time, which I really appreciate. It’s hard to find a place that keeps that same quality with every visit, but they definitely do. They also have a great selection of drinks, so there’s always something new to try. The owner and employees are incredibly nice and welcoming, and you can tell they truly care about their customers. Today I accidentally dropped my coffee, and the staff was so kind and understanding. They replaced my drink without making me feel bad at all. That level of customer service is why I’ll keep coming back! Highly recommend

There’s this cute little coffee shop south of Veterans and Kelly Ave. It looks super cozy with dim lights, and they even have an outdoor patio. No food, just pastries and coffee. I had the brown sugar with coconut milk, and it was pretty good, no complaints there. When I went, they didn’t seem to have a ton of pastry options, but the service is friendly.

Stopped by today for the first time. Tried Matcha for the first time as well. The cashier was extremely friendly and answered all my questions regarding dairy free and sugar free options. Walked out with a Matcha with almondmilk and sugar free vanilla. It was so good! The vibe and energy was very calming and relaxing. I love they are also Christian based and my cup came with a sweet message reminding me God hasn’t forgotten about me.

Cute little place, first time here, ordered a 16oz, 2 shot expresso w almond milk and sugar free vanilla but unfortunately I got a 12 oz latte and with what I’m hoping is almond milk. It taste watery not too sweet (loves that part) but for the $7+ tip I spent to get the wrong order, not cool. Staff was very welcoming, the place is so cute and the fact that it has a patio is a plus. But not worth it if I’m going to get charged for something I did not order.

Good atmosphere, it’s a calming and a comfortable spot to grab a drink and a sweet treat. Good for the whole family to just chill and enjoy the decoration, especially the children they loved the Sasquatch. Highly recommend to anybody who is looking for either a quick drink or a relaxing stay. Loved the coffee and the matcha ☕️ ❤️
