Nice clean store with a lot of variety. Fresh sandwiches made to order. Fresh coffee and lottery as well. Not sure about Money Orders though. This store is run by a really nice guy who used to run the Speedy Mart around the corner. Now he has a new store right in the Watchung Triangle shops, right next to Marino’s Pizza. Check it out. Fast service is what I always liked about this guy, gets you in and out quick. Parking is ample and access in and out of the Triangle is a breeze.

This location changed drastically after taking on the new owners. This used to be such a good deli spot.
It’s been reduced to basically a sparsely stocked bodega (corner store) with some light lunch offerings such as cold sandwiches.
The reason for my low review is 3 main reasons.
1) I ordered a wrap, and before I finished telling the lady what I wanted I ensured that I was very very clear that I did NOT want mayo in my wrap.
(Side note* why do people insist on having Mayo on a perfectly fine sandwich or wrap. It’s disgusting)
And like a sitcom when I went to unwrap the package there was gross Mayo in my wrap !
I understand there are greater tragedies in life but I was definitely not happy.
2) There is seating for one person to eat. Why anyone would sit there alone eating in a fast past corner store is beyond me. It’s weirdly bright in there and if this was your choice to bring a date undoubtedly it would be your last one !
3) There is ridiculous $5 minimum on all purchases if paid by Credit or Debit Card. Ridiculous from the standpoint that most purchases are under $5. For example pack of gum and bottle of Ice Tea. Most sane people are not going there to go grocery shopping. SMH
Final Verdict: 3 Stars ⭐⭐⭐

buddy (mike) is a great guy and very friendly with all of his customers. Great selection of snacks and drinks for a fair price if you got the munchies. Freshmart is my go to store for almost anything. best convenience store in the watchung area with an amazing staff.
