Never had a bad meal or poor service. Hubs and I have been coming here for years and probably won’t ever stop: food is incredible and prices reasonable, staff courteous, helpful and very funny (always a plus with us) and outside of the sometimes lengthy wait time (they’re a very popular place can’t be mad at em) I have nothing but good things to say about Le Peep. Ask anyone this place is AMAZING. (Pictures: I had them and chocolate chips to my Belgian waffle because I was feeling reckless; the drink is arguably the best iced chai I’ve ever had)

This place was a pretty cute, quaint breakfast spot. The pancakes were pretty good, and the juice was great. I didn’t try any of the coffee this time but I was happy to see that they have non-dairy milk options.

The staff were nice and also helpful. It was a good spot to have brunch with a couple of my friends.

This is a busy place, especially around the brunch time. It’s a little warm in the inside, which I believe is due to the ongoing in and out of the front door because there are seatings outdoors.
Service is friendly and good, but we did wait about over 35-45 minutes for our food. We asked for extra napkins, but the waitress never came back with them.

This place is decorated so festive and cute for the holidays! It has a very homey feel here. The waiters were all very nice. Lots of food given as well. It tasted pretty good too. However, the orange juice is nearly $5 for a small glass!!! What a rip off! The food does taste good though, and it is a perfect little brunch restaurant

This used to be the best Eggs Benedict around IMO. Very welcoming place with nice healthy smoothies and not so healthy coffee drinks. Awesome breakfast! (That was my post 3 years ago and picture with a 5 star rating. Since then ownership has changed and kitchen staff has been replaced.)

My new review drops it to 3 stars. Food is not great anymore. I have come 3 times now since the changes and been very dissatisfied. The benedict is about as good as a Waffle House if they made it. The hash browns are always soaked in grease and soggy. The quality of ingredients have gone down. It’s just not the same quality wise. And if you ask my wife she’ll also add that they don’t decorate for the seasons anymore. Doesn’t bother me but I’m not sure I can risk coming back for a good breakfast and getting let down anymore.

Please fix the issues. We loved coming here with the family for a weekend breakfast.

I honestly don’t know why there’s only a 4.1 star rating here. OK, I just went for my first time, but everything was more than I expected. Right off the bat, I got iced tea, and they brought me my own carafe to keep myself topped off!! I’m sure some out there would say “ugh, they don’t even want to check up and make sure the customer has enough to drink” Screw that, this is the way it should be done, the waiter, who has better things to do I’m sure, now doesn’t have to get me a refill as often. More power to them, efficiency is key. The Maryland Benedict (pictured) was out of this world. I actually told my gf I was sad that I knew if would be a while until I could have this again… The service was spot on, for a Saturday at 10:00 and 4 people we were seated in minutes. Our waiter was just the right amount of attentive (not too much, not too little) and we just had a great time. Definitely looking forward to going back!

We moved here in 2016, to this day this is still our preferred breakfast/bunch place. Everything we have tried has been delicious. You MUST try the 18 wheeler and the Chicken Fried Chicken. Call ahead as sometimes waiting times can get a bit long.

One of the best breakfasts I have had in Kansas City. There were so many great choices on the menu, from Stuffed French Toast to Salmon Benedict, it was hard to decide. I had the Rock Lobster Scramble and it was delicious! So looking forward to going back and trying something else.

The Sea mist lobster eggs so really good. It for sure had big chucks of lobster and the hollandaise sauce was a wonderful touch. The potato were nice and flavorful. However, the gooey buns was NOT very good and a waste of $4.50. I would have rather had a cinnamon roll. So for that reason, I’m giving it 3 stars instead of 4 stars. And the waiter was very nice and friendly. It’s just that bun. They thru something together and labeled it gooey and then over charge you for the falling invention.

First of all, we never usually have bad service here but our last visit was an exception. My mom had made reservations since there would be 7 of us. She arrived ahead of myself and 2 others in our party and right off the bat they wouldn’t seat the four that were there. She did explain that the rest of us were less than 10 minutes behind her but that didn’t matter. So they sat and waited for us. When we arrived, the parking lot wasn’t full and they and two other people were the only ones waiting and there were quite a few empty tables so not sure what the big deal was about seating them. Our reservation was at 11:15 so if they weren’t busy at that time, I doubt they would get any busier in those 10 minutes they waited.

We were seated upstairs and then we proceeded to wait again until our waitress finally showed up. She didn’t know the specials for the day but took our drink order but didn’t write it down. Showed back up two minutes later to re-confirm what our drink order was (still didn’t know the special). Came back up with half of our drinks (not on a tray) and said she would be back with the coffee as she didn’t want to spill those. Why not just use a tray and bring them all??? Brought the coffee on the next trip. Empty mugs and then poured the coffee while holding both mugs by the handles in the other hand instead of setting them on the table where she could have filled them up. I know, I am being nitpicky but I think I was thrown off by the fact that they wouldn’t seat my older mother and father. By the way, she still didn’t know the special so back downstairs she ran.

I ended up ordering the Sweetie Pie Skillet (pictured) which is described as “Sweet potatoes, onions and diced ham, all coming together under a blanket of Swiss cheese and topped with two basted eggs and a sprinkle of green onions.” Had I known they were just sweet potato fries and not actual sweet potatoes, I might have made a different choice. I kind of figured they might actually dice up real sweet potatoes not short cut it and used processed sweet potato fries.

During this time, the table behind us is about to leave and the waitress has their party help her bus the table. Not long after they leave and they reset the table do they sit two people at the table for 12. Hmmmm, an incomplete party?? About 10 minutes later 2 more people show up. 5 minutes later 4 more show up and everytime, the older couple get up to greet them and bump into my chair. Fun times.

The restaurant never did get any busier than when we showed up. Food was just average. Not once did we ever hear what the special was. No refills were ever given. I can see why they weren’t busy. Their food and service has definitely gone down hill since the last time I had been there. Will I go back? Probably not unless my mother makes another reservation and wants us all to go with her there again.
