Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Each worker that walked by always asked if we were okay. All the dishes we ordered were tasty. The chicken skin appetizer was tasteless and bland, but the sesame seeds were a nice addition.

Was in town for work and craving some Thai food and was happily surprised! I really enjoyed their green curry with chicken. It had nice crisp vegetables, and the curry had great flavor. It also came with a giant serving of rice, which was great for soaking up all the curry.

A Thai restaurant in Arlington is in Yelp’s Top 100 restaurants. I had to check it out. Thai is my favorite ethnic cuisine. I used to live in Arlington but at no time heard of Sunny Thai. There are several Thai restaurants in Arlington which I would recommend.

Ordered takeout from here and will definitely be returning! My order was ready within 15 minutes and staff was very nice. I got chicken Ka Pow and Egg Drop Soup – both were delicious and fresh/hot! Definitely recommend.

Another instance of over hyped by reviews and let down by the restaurant, after seeing the reviews I really wanted to try this place and went in hoping for great food, which turned out to be strictly okay. It’s not the food is bad, but it’s lacking the flavor that usually is the main thing in Thai restaurants I look for. Spring rolls were good, but the fried rices I have tried were let down. Above all, it seemed very pricey for the food it offered.

I’ve lived in Arlington all my life and can’t believe I’d been passing up this gem for so long! The service is good along with serving time. Their menu has great variety. The dish in the phone is Curry Fried Rice, lunch portions. One thing about Sunny Thai, they are going to give you your monies worth! The portions are very fair and the flavors are great! My boyfriend got a Pho dish that he said was packed with flavor as well. If you’re in Arlington looking for a quick bite to eat, put this on your list.
