Sad… So sad. I grew up here with fond memories of this place. I’ve been coming here for over thirty years. This place is a sad shell of what it used to be. The food is inexplicably terrible. The service is non existent. The prices are astronomical. The food does not reflect the price I paid. Shrinkflation is real. This place has ran it course. It should be taken out to pasture and let die. That’s way something better could take its place. It brings a tear to my eye to see this restaurant circle the drain. And I don’t think there is anything they can do to fix it. It’s just a damn shame to see a staple of the community just go out like this. I blame the new owners. Ever since they took over, this is what it has become of this place. Shame on you new owners, Shame!

If you grew up in the IE you pretty much know about this place. With only two locations, one in San Bernardino and this one, this was the place to go to grab good food at a budget price growing up. Prices are still reasonable with most lunches costing between 7-11 bucks and they include a side salad or soup and a drink. Staff is friendly and food is always good.

The staff that took our order spoke with an irritated tone, it felt like she didn’t want to be helping us. Then, they lost our order. After waiting for 35 minutes, hearing numbers above ours called, we inquired, they offered no apology for losing our ticket. They got the food out shortly after that at least, but an apology would have been appreciated.

Best value, hands down anywhere in SoCal. Family owned and operated yet quality and consistency is admirable, even thru the Covid chaos. Keep it up ! Thank you !

Used to be a favorite place to eat! I’m literally sitting here, food was served cold! Same meal that was $12.99 a few years back with hot food and filled the plate, is now less shrimp, beef, and smaller piece of chicken served cold and cost $15.99 now! Shame on you sundowners! The menu sucks now, and there is hardly anyone sitting in the donning room to eat! Unlike before when no matter the time this place would be full! Never again to feed 3 people for $55.00, NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Oh and the blue cheese salad dressing is watery, smh!

No. As we approached the building, we saw and smelled a stream of pee that we had to walk over. Upon entering, we were not greeted by the staff. The corral leading to where you ordered was winding us to certain doom. The smell of the dining area was kind of like mothballs and vinegar. The place was almost empty at dinner time – not a good sign of good food. There were only a couple of families with screaming children not enjoying their time. We immediately opted for NO and went out the “in” door.

The food is good and good prices, but they only take cash, service is good and fast, the way they have tbeir set up, the only complaint I have is that the place has been there for a while and it really shows, I think is time for some up dates.
