The staff was great and the food was amazing. Definitely thought it was hyped up at first but it’s really as good as he promoted it to be. I honestly thought the place would be bigger but nevertheless we were able to sit in and enjoy our meals. Blue lemonade was just how I expected it to be. Everything just tasted homemade and felt like it was prepared just for you. Trick Daddy really seemed to put a lot of thought in the food process and I’m definitely making this a go to spot next time I’m in Miami.

Great experience! We got our food to go and it was only a 15 minute wait on a Saturday afternoon. We got to take a picture with Trick Daddy the owner as well! Great hospitality, food and service. Blue lemonade was bussin and baked chicken and rice was top tier! We will be back! ♥️

The first thing I check out in any restaurant is how clean the restroom is. Because if they pay attention to the restroom for the clients use. I know the kitchen is in order. So please understand the employees use the same restroom as you do. And if it does not have soap in it how does the employees wash there hands. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was top notch, the service was on a level that made my entire trip to Miami worth it’s weight in GOAL. I DON’T EAT A LOT OF PORK. But the smothered pork chops with that 50 weight gravy almost made me bite my finger off. The plate speaks for itself. Keep the ship in order homie. It was worth every penny I spent..

The food was excellent! I got the turkey wings, yellow rice, and collard greens. My man had the fried ribs, shrimp rice, and macaroni and cheese… even the cornbread muffins are good! Service was good considering the small facility. We waited for about 25 minutes but it was well worth it!

The food was decent… would have liked to taste more of a cajun kick with the fried ribs and smoked turkey wings. Maybe they should boil them in seafood boil prior to cooking them. The greens were decent and probably would have been better without the stems in them. The lemonade was good. I loved the shrimp. The banana pudding was more of a banana cream. Overall it was the closest we got to southern cooking while in Miami being that my fiancé and I are from Louisiana. The fried fish was good as well.

Love that they are bringing business back to this plaza. Trick Daddy was there talking and hanging out with the customers, which was nice to see. The food looked great and everyone was enjoying their meals. Place was clean and the employees were very professional and nice.

My husband and I visited Miami for my Birthday. This was our first stop. The food was awesome! Authentic soul food. I had the jumbo shrimp it came with one side and a choice of yellow rice or pigeon peas and rice and a cornbread muffin. My husband had fresh snapper(2 pieces), it came with a side he had pigeon peas instead of yellow rice and a corn bread muffin. I choose Mac and cheese for my side my husband had collard greens for his side. We also had sweet tea which was some of the best tea I’ve had in a long time. Definitely worth it. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. This establishment is 5 star! If you want amazing authentic soul food please stop by you won’t be disappointed

The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu, suggesting many delicious items. I loved the food, and so did my husband. We came back again before we left town. The portions are large as well. We will definitely return soon.
