Excellent sushi- the best or one of the best places I’ve tried! Our favorite rolls are the Funky Roll, Candy Cane Roll, and Pacific Roll. They are so delicious!
Your order also comes with complimentary soup and salad. These are also yummy- especially the salad!
The staff is nice. The ambiance is nice. It was quiet both times we went- not much people.
The food does take awhile to get to your table. Expect 30 minutes to an hour or so. But it is worth the wait!

It is what it is, a classic American hibachi cook it in front of you Japanese spot, our chef was awesome very fun and jovial and I really enjoyed my steak and shrimp, the soup could have used a bit more mushroom but that’s subjective, great cold sake for the price as well! I had a blast thanks Sumo!

Beautiful restaurant! Friendly staff! I felt welcomed. Staff helped me pronounce one of the entrees I wanted to order, and I thought that was very nice of her. Any questions I asked, she was very helpful and answered them.
I ordered Unagi Donburi! It was delicious! I got it specially ordered, and the chef fixed it exactly the way I wanted. I also had Soft Shell Crab Tempura…..aaaahhhhh….delicous!!! I loved how they separated my order the way I asked so I could put as much or as much dip, sauce or gravy on it. Yes, I will be returning. Next time I may dine in. Thank you, Sumo, for my wonderful lunch/di nner.

This was almost a great experience. We got one sushi roll and hibachi. We waited AN HOUR for hibachi because there was only one guy doing it. We got the Flaming Amy sushi which was really good. The filet and scallops hibachi was very good but the chicken hibachi was massacred. It was so dry and tough, I think he forgot about it.

Absolutely fabulous evening out with friends. First time visiting so did not quite know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, fast service and cozy atmosphere. The chef was amazing and very entertaining. Huge portions of fresh delicious food.

This place is not what it used to be. The service and food were horrible.
First, the waitress was rushing to take our order. Not give you time to look at the menu. The layout of the tables doesn’t give room for the waitress to severe you. Waitress had to reach over others at the table to serve us, very uncomfortable. Waitress was also not attentive at all.
The chef got my order wrong despite checking everyone’s order before he started cooking. He gave someone at our table chicken even though they didn’t order chicken so I had to wait extra time for him to grab more chicken and cook it.
Food was not great either, extremely salty. The price for the food is not worth it. Automatic gratitude is added.
Also floor needs to be cleaned, very sticky!

We went to Sumo to celebrate our son’s birthday. It was nice but the food wasn’t awesome as it had been in the past. I was glad to see everyone using a mask and then cleaning everything with bleach as the patrons left .

Server was extremely pushy when we ordered and kept rushing us. We got there just as they opened for dinner. Was with a party of four and we werent even given 2 minutes to look over the menu. 2 of our party ended up having to order just to get the waitress off our back.
Lighting is so dark in there I had to use my phone flashlight to read the menu.
Hibachi food was actually pretty good and a good amount. The sushi was really poor quality and way overpriced. They also dont have regular sushi rolls.
