Sully’s Irish Pub has been the only tried and true Irish bar in the Des Moines area since 1977. Sully’s is the oldest Irish bar in The Des Moines area and is know for the biggest St. Patrick’s Day party around! After 40 years Sullys was relocated to the corner of 63rd and Grand. We now offer fresh food with local ingredients and nothing is frozen! Best wings in town along with great burgers, cheese curds and great drink specials! Sully’s will continue to treat you like family and here’s to another 40!

The food here is so good! We shared a burger and wings and sat at the bar to watch one of the NBA Finals. I didn’t really notice any Irish fare but it didn’t matter because what we got really hit the spot! And it was all done so well. I think these wings are among my favorites in DSM! Really enjoyed the company of all the staff, too. The bartender Megan did a great job!

What a great experience for lunch today. The cheese curds where amazing, the Reuben was perfect, one of the best I’ve had, husband had the Bubba burger and was very happy. The waitstaff were friendly and very welcoming. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu.

I was drinking a tequila and grapefruit and my waitress was great, asked if I wanted fresh sqeezed and I did. They were great. We were sitting at the bar, another waitress came up and saw our waitress using the juicer and didn’t realize the drink was for me and right in front on me, said out loud, ” I would tell them the juicer was broken “., then giggled and walked away. If you don’t want to offer fresh squeezed juice, don’t have a juicer or tell your employees to be more professional.

We love Sully’s. Started going when they were in their original building 30-40 years ago. The new building feels like an Irish pub. Wait staff and bartenders are excellent and friendly. Food is good, too. Many good Irish beers on tap as well as good ole Irish Whiskey. First Tuesday there is an Irish session.
