What a great new restaurant on 17th street! We enjoyed excellent food and service at Sullivan’s Scrap Kitchen. Everything was outstanding. We had the 9-course tasting menu and the quality and presentation of the food was off the charts!

I’ve gotten takeout from here twice and both times got the fried chicken sandwich. Both times, unfortunately disappointed. Food was ready 10 minutes or so after the estimated time so had to sit and wait. Both times the breading on the chicken was ironically overcooked. Neither time was the place very busy though. Once is fine, it happens, but twice is a pattern. Really had high hopes because the reviews for this place are great but I have to disagree with the good ones. Sad because there are not many places in the area with a good fried chicken sandwich and this could make me a repeat customer but I don’t plan on coming back now.

Unassuming from the outside, however amazing on the inside, this place is straight up delicious! The food was incredible, cooked from scratch (as the restaurant name suggests!) and the wine is superb! We got a whole bottle for $30 and it was well worth it. The riverbed trout cakes were out of this world and the lamb pasta was incredible. Our waitress was amazing, super friendly, and helpful! Highly recommend!

Overall incredible experience! I met Holly and Terrence at a conference and immediately realized how great of people they are. They told me about their regeneratively and sustainably sourced local restaurant and I had to check it out. I convinced a few industry colleagues to tag along and let me tell you, I’ve never looked so good! We all were blown away at not only how delicious and beautiful the food was but also how friendly and helpful the team was as we asked seemingly endless questions about anything and everything. This restaurant will be a must visit every time I am in Denver. Thank you!

Great spot for fresh sourdough bread. The chicken club is the sandwich to order for sure.

The food here was amazing. It’s so inventive, fresh, accessible, and delicious it blew our minds. We got 2 tasty rolls with a starter-based sauce; shishito peppers with a lime cotija; amuse bouche of an eggplant paste on a beet slice on a cucumber that was heavenly; the summer garden plate with a wildly satisfying mix of veggies, cheese and sauces that were so tasty; a shroom-enhanced pesto gnocchi that had hearty and nutty pesto; and a lamb adobado on a blue corn cake with rich layers of flavors. The decor feels comfortable, like you’re in the home of a fun, crafty, artsy person as opposed to fine in dining. We found the combination of casual ambiance and stellar food to be perfect. Will definitely be coming back for burger night and brunch (see their site for schedules). I did notice that another diner was in a wheelchair and they have set up the restrooms to be accessible, switching a step to a ramp.

A lovely surprise on a Friday evening. The wait staff seemed very excited when we said it was our first visit to Sullivan Scrap Kitchen, and boy… do I understand why. We had the chef tasting menu. Each of the seven (was it 8?) courses was a delight. We had to take a couple items home!

Everything is amazing. We have been back many many times. I have had the quesadilla, the shashito peppers, the chicken quesadilla, the homemade broccoli cheddar soup, the fried chicken with greens and mac and cheese, the steak frites, the chicken and waffles, and the sourdough pancakes. The pancakes are absolutely the best I have ever had. They come with some apples and a meringue and are TO DIE FOR. Literally everything we have had is fabulous, you can’t go wrong, and the owners are very nice people deserving of your business. Give it a try and you will not regret it! Pictured: the fried chicken plate, the steak frites, and the sourdough pancakes.

Found this little neighbourhood gem at the corner of East 17th and Williams St. on a weekday afternoon for a late lunch. We got seated without any wait at one of the tables on the outside/sidewalk patio. Server was friendly and attentive, and the menus had a nice selection of starters, salads, sandwiches and entrees. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are very generous (two of us had take-home portions from our meals), even at lunchtime. They dry-age their own meats and prepare their breads (for sandwiches, etc.) in their own kitchen. The appetizer waffle sweet potato fries was a good balance of sweet & salty, while the shrimp po-boy was a very nice treat and the side potato chips were very nicely done. Looking forward to return visit and very highly recommended!

Our favorite! We love Sullivan’s! Brunch, lunch and dinner – all great! Amazing food, service and space. I’ve enjoyed every bite of every meal here. They are so creative with their menu. They support tons of Colorado farms and companies. Can’t recommend enough! Great happy hour, too!
