Waited in the dining room for more than 5 minutes during lunch hour. You could hear multiple employees talking in the back and nobody came out. Extremely disappointed in this lack of service and ended up needing to go to McDonalds to get lunch before my break ended

I absolutly agree with what others have said. When ther is less then 2-3 people in the store you get a top notch product and perfect service. The food industry is customer service driven first and food second in my opinion. When you can’t even look up at your customer and engage them with eye contact the food is expected at that point to just be so so. There are a couple of the staff that are on point everytime, a couple don’t seem to care and there for make the experience no great. The store is clean, no weird smells or dirty tables, it’s empty most days and the lettuce still looks fresh everytime I have gone in.

It’s a subway, and I’ve worked in the fast food industry so I know how hard it is. If you order at non busy times you’ll get a stellar experience. It’s when it’s busy, that’s when it gets iffy. The workers there are awesome! All the ones I saw always had a smile even though there was a line out the door. Definitely better than the monmouth location 🙂

I went in to pick up an order, and it took me over 45 minutes to receive it. When I did get my order, the staff complained about owners not providing enough staff despite multiple attempts to get another team member. Additionally, they ran out of bread and was told I had to wait 30-45min for a new batch to bake if I wanted a sandwich.
I love Subway, and the staff member was calm in consideration of the situation, but it’s sad to see people overworked and underpaid, and then complaining to customers about it.

Inconsistent service mainly due I believe to staff being overworked. I came in on a Saturday afternoon…ordered three footlong sandwiches…as the sandwich maker was making mine, seven online orders came in, and there were seven people behind me in line for 1 person behind the counter. Many people in line were mad as well as people that came in for their online order. I would recommend ordering meals on non-peak times. The employee was doing the best he could, but could not keep up with the volume of orders.

Had a long day and just wanted a sandwich made how I like it. They missed at least 4 toppings, and the drink I ordered was not in the fridge so they had to substitute it. It didn’t even tell me online when I placed the order. Didn’t have a good attitude about it, and it was like I was bothering them for ordering food. Can’t even go on the website to get a refund. I’m not going here again.

Here I sit wishing there was a zero star rating. I didn’t take a picture of my burnt sandwich because I assumed Subway would do the right thing and replace it for me. Not only was their response to my complaint insulting and rude, but I ended up with no refund, no replacement, not even a coupon. My sandwich wasn’t even a sandwich as it was so burnt it was inedible.
Beware! If you must eat there because you’re literally starving, be sure to unwrap your sandwich and check it before leaving. If you leave and anything is wrong, they will brush you off and steal your money.

No tomatoes on a Monday at 1045? What kind of sandwich place has no tomatoes. Lettuce bins filled with brown lettuce? Who serves that? Used to be decent place. Won’t be going back. Hopefully someone comes along and opens up a Jersey Mikes in this town.
