UPDATE – If Genevieve is working your set! I watched her literally work circles around he co workers, fast, efficient, quality, polite, everything they should want in an employee, only problem is, she isn’t there 7 days a week!!

Pretty disappointing! Service was super slow, the one person working there was more intent on baking bread as the line continued to grow. Once it was my turn, I ordered my Tuna sandwich, just to be told .. no tuna until tomorrow. I would not recommend this location for a “quick” bite to eat. Also ordered the foot long pretzel with the cheese sauce .. there were 7 SEVEN grains of salt on the entire thing and I didn’t get the cheese sauce. lunch cost just under $30 for two people and it was pretty disappointing. DO Better!

I always order online. Terrible vegetable pieces in the sandwich. Like the leftovers. Hard root ends that hurt my teeth. I counted 2 yellow peppers. Hard white lettuce. What’s going on??

Simply put – the quality at the St Helens Subway has been increasingly bad over the last few years. As far as we can tell, they are constantly out of a LOT of options/ingredients (today, they had ONLY wheat bread, for example), and the service almost couldn’t possibly be slower. The employees are nice, and I actually often feel awful for them; so many of the problems are clearly not their fault (though there were a few online orders that were super far behind, causing one waiting customer to start yelling and threatening to call the owner). Sure, things were extra busy today, but these are issues each and every single time we go anymore, and unfortunately, our visits have become much more infrequent. I genuinely hope things improve here again because we miss the quality and consistency that Subway used to have.

Its a Subway. Not too many ways it can stand out but I have always received excellent service here. The staff is friendly, when they have time, and nothing has been burnt or bad. A good Subway with good staff.

Today on 7/14/25 I went to pick up my catering order for my work. The food was ready and, in the bag, very organized. The team did a great job executing our needs as a customer. This was not the first time we have had them cater- but today I had to leave a comment. Thank you to the team!

Ordered online (for a deal) took 20 min to make my footlong sandwich nothing special not even toasted or anything the only thing I asked for was to put my sauce in the little cups so my sandwich doesn’t get soggy and that wasn’t even done. Kinda wild

This is not about the poor employees just trying to make a buck… This is about the owner and the corporation…

WORST customer service of all time! My apple device. Like apple does sometimes. Decided to put an auto space between my password when I had to re-sign in after an app update. Because of that I got locked out of my account and my almost 5000 points were gone.. I buy deals and hardly ever cash in points.. So when I tried reaching out to subway to verify myself and reopen my account. Their website failed to load on all browsers. Sent emails and never got a reply. Even attempted reaching out to the owner of this store about it, got a “We’ll look into it”.. That was almost a year ago Still nothing! .

Haven’t been there since. I mean if I can’t have my account back and you don’t want my business. That’s fine. I’ll spend my money elsewhere proudly…

Do not order from this store. Owner will not stand behind their service if they make a mistake.

Store handed order to some random person instead of delivery person and we never got the order.

Called Doordash service says to contact local Subway store directly as they don’t handle payments. Contact Subway store they say they handed to someone and out of their hands and call Doordash. Call Doordash, again don’t handle the payments as the store does and their supervisor calls local store to explain and Subway worker hangs up on this supervisor.

This local Subway owner will not talk or contact us to remedy or stand behind this missing order. Owner feels they handed to some delivery person and that is it. Could this be some random person off the street they handed to, this Owner doesn’t care. We are out no food, out time calling these companies, and no solution for all this wasted.

We will think next time on purchasing anything from Subway chain in future.
