Two sandwiches to go was almost $27. Didn’t know what I was getting apparently! The girl behind the counter was nice enough though. The store was clean. I did not use the restroom food was okay not bad. But also not great.

Ok, I’m done at this location. Unless you are standing right in front of these people you can forget about getting the sandwich the way you want it. ESPECIALLY if you order on their app. Out of the last six orders I’ve had from this store FOUR of them have been wrong. And they use Door Dash for delivery. You call the store, they blame Door Dash, you call Door Dash they blame the store. And here’s the thing, I always tip generously too. But I’m just freaking over it now.

At approximately 12:48:19 on 1/12/2022 I am in subway having my sandwich made. I go quite often to this particular location and never have any issues with anyone but the employee CHRISTIAN. Unfortunately, today has been a very busy day for them. So as I was telling Christian what veggies to put on the sandwich I am also paying for the Sandwich with another employee; to make the process go faster. BUT, right when I get done paying, I happen to glance over to see CHRISTIAN holding the vinegar, vertical and stationary over the middle of the sandwich and he is squeezing the He** out of the vinegar soaking the bread. He intentionally does this when he thinks I’m not looking, giving the whole thing a sour taste. But for what? Cause he’s busy? What’s going through his mind? After I confronted Christian about what he did, he was speechless.. He didn’t know what to say cause he knew what he was doing was wrong. I asked for oil and vinegar, NOT a 1/4 cup of vinegar in the middle of the sandwich. I stopped him right there. I did not continue to let them finish making my sandwich. I had them bag it and walked out of the store.

The sandwich I got was okay. I asked for light onions and got a ton but easy to deal with. The girl working the counter was kind of rude though. I ordered through the app and just figured my sandwich wasn’t ready because it wasn’t on the pick up rack. I was sitting waiting and the girl was looking down while addressing me so I didn’t know she was speaking to me. We made eye contact and she spoke softly so I said I have a mobile order and she rudely rolled her eyes and said “yeah, NAME??” I told her and she said “it’s up here.” Like okay??

Im not one to complain, or write reviews really, but I paid $14.89 for a sandwich..ordered the turkey cali fresh..with turkey, bacon, avacado, lettuce, extra tomatoes, light onion, and fresh mozz. with sweet onion sauce..There were no tomatoes, no avacado, and no fresh mozz cheese! And so much sweet onion sauce that I could have rang the sandwich out like a rag! GROSS. I called the store and they apologized that they were out of tomoatoes, and fresh mozz and apologized for not putting the smashed avacado on..and said that i could come in and he would remake it..i said can i wait until you have tomatoes, fresh mozz and all the right things that i would like on my sandwich..he says umm no it will have to be remade to day or we cant do anything. Ok cool..threw my $15 wet rag sandwich away..and wont go back! Ordered through the app..app doesnt tell you if they are out of stock of everything!

The general manager has bias opinions, she doesn’t like people that are different and makes sandwiches with too much dressing sauces, she also talks behind people’s backs while your in the store. The other staff are very respectful. All in all a good place besides the general manager.

My wife made a mistake ordering online and had paid online when I got to the store and ask them to void the order so I could re order correctly they refused to void the order because she said it made them look bad. Well I will not use either subway in Hays any longer I guess a bad review for them is better then voiding an order in which an honest mistake was made and treating a customer poorly is how they do business.

We placed our orders on line and paid for them online, when they were done we received a very rude phone call from the store staring that it was very unusual for us to order our food and not pick it up. The guy that answered the phone when I called didn’t even know the address to the store he was working at. When we picked up our food the people were rude to us. SO VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! After we were halfway home I checked my sandwich, IT WASN’T HOW I ORDERED IT ONLINE.

One of the staff was very rude to my mom and I as we were trying to order a salad. My mom didn’t want meat in her salad and the lady didn’t seem to understand and was very irritated at the minor request of a plain salad no meat with just vegetables. The employee smarted off and talked back with a very rude tone. Plus, I don’t know if they double charged her or what, but her salad was 13 dollars and it wasn’t even filled up halfway. Salads are normally 6 to 7 dollars. $22 with tax it was about $23 for a footlong and a salad and one drink. They didn’t get our receipt. When we got out there and realized we didn’t have our receipt, we had no interest in going back in. I asked for my sandwich to be heated not toasted, and they toasted it so the bread was hard and crunchy instead of warmed like I like.
