I ordered two Philly Steaks and neither of them had any meat on them. Received two sandwiches made of bread, green pepper and onion. Then, the employee on the phone was completely rude and refused to give me the owner’s name. Never again, and I will be contacting Subway corporate.

Never again horrible customer service. 3 workers working on one person order with 3 sandwiches. One guy had no gloves on had the audacity to put my sandwich in the toaster, then put sanitizer on last. The prices are very high for what you get and the sandwiches are very small. The bread literally shriveled down after they toasted my sandwich. The employees do not seem like they enjoy what they do and the chain will gleefully charge you nearly $3.00 to make any 6 inch sub a salad!! Makes zero sense to up charge you to remove the bread to make a salad. Also they do not give you napkins nor do they have any placed conveniently inside the restaurant. Will never return. Jersey Mike’s is so much better!!!

I was there today with my three children to get the special they had 6 inch sub sandwich for free. I heard about the deal on the news. So my children and I went to get the free sandwiches and the cashier there said that you can only get one sandwich per family. I was wondering how could you eat a 6-in sub sandwich when you have children 13, 12 and 10 years old. And on the news it did not say one sandwich per family when. At the subway in Shorewood Illinois. It was a Caucasian man and his two little daughters had order the 6-in deal for free I was standing there I did not see him give the cashier any money. I am an African-American she told me that I have to get one sandwich for the family of four I fell I was discriminated against. I will not go to that Subway again and if you are African-American please think twice before you go to the subway in Shorewood Illinois I noticed the difference between that Subway and the other Subway down the street the one is Shorewood Illinois the people in there is prejudice the one down the street on essington road in Joliet they are not prejudice. They need to hire people that’s not prejudice that thinks about the customer need instead of the customer skin color.

Very unfriendly employees is the 1st impression. I always order the Philly at other subways and they are great. I just ordered two from the Subway in Shorewood and it was awful. They have a great picture on the window and it’s a very far cry to what you get. They hardly put any meat on the sandwich and the cheese was actually laughable. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Was on hold for 15 minutes to cancel an order that was placed by mistake on the app just to be told “Yeah I can’t help you” We followed up with “Can you ask someone who can?” The woman started talking to a co worker and explained our cancellation request and said “They are already complaining at me” The woman said “I guess we will have to void it” and hung up. Didn’t ask for a name or anything. Called back to give a name and the woman was snippy and making excuses for the behaviors. We understand they were probably busy, but disrespect is absolutely no way to handle a simple request.
