I always loved Subway. That night, I had a turkey sandwich, and it was great. I have tried the jalapeno chips, which was something new for me, and they are delicious. I also like their breakfast sandwiches.

I have ordered from this location about once a month for the past year. Besides seeing new faces everytime i walk in, they have always produced expected product. The time before this we seen the writing on the wall, attention to detail was slipping. The produce and meat just looked sloppy. I gave them one last shot today. The vegtables looked like they threw it against the wall to “cut it”, and then left in a fridge for a week. I could tell old has been placed on new multiple times by the slime in the tubs. Whats worse, is when i get home the bread is straight dough on the inside. So i called and got met with excuses, no biggie propably first job and dont know how to handle adversity yet. She says all our bread is cooked to time. Then it all came together, i seen them leaving the oven open on cool down cycle and not letting it rest properly, i mean i think thats it if they are supposidly cooking it to the right time. All in all, either the oven is broke, its not cooked to time, or leaving the oven open early is the cause of this. If the attention to detail is there, the person cutting the bread and smashing it flat should have seen the state of the bread and fixed the issue or offered different alternatives. To put the cherry on the top, corprate has added a tip option for this service rendered, but thats a whole nother hole to fall into. Anyways, here is a picture of the dough, er i mean bread

If I want to go to subway, I guess I will have to go out of town. Spoke with the owner about issues I was having with the west side of town. Live on the west side of town and drove all the way to the east side of town to avoid messed up orders. the last two times they’ve messed my order up on the east side of town. Went there again tonight and they missed half of my order. Drive all the way back to the east side of town only to find out that the item that I requested is not available. I asked for a refund and they refunded me less than what I originally paid. When I told the girl that she refunded me less that what I paid and the one girl who was being pretty nice, was trying to correct things when Elizabeth Gomez commented that there was no need for me to act the way and that’s what the computer told her to refund. Elizabeth told me that if I kept getting messed up orders that I should just stop coming to Subway all together. She was not involved in the transaction and the girl was helping me so she had no business don’t even open her mouth. I was being very calm and helping the girl try to figure out how much of a refund that I was due when Elizabeth decided to share her feelings about me . Not that I had to, but I explained to Elizabeth that several times my order was messed up, which is why I was upset but it continues to happen. She continued to go on and on and tell me that I should just stop eating at Subway all together. The manager, Mathew Oler came out and had no clue what was going on but was more interested in the fact that there was an upset customer because he was walking around the lobby before I came back in. I was leaving after I receive my proper refund and the manager told me to leave the building. I was walking out of the building as he opened his mouth. I think these young kids just wanted to show their selves. I know working in the food industry is hard and working with the public is a challenge because I do it. I’m paying for a service and if you screw it up, then you should accept accountability and not blame the customer. What are ever happened to the customer is always right? I had a reason to be upset and didn’t need an attitude from a young kid. They won’t have to worry about me ever coming back into any of the Richmond locations again the owner is aware, but nothing changes.

Went on a Saturday at the drive thru starting placing my order and the young girl started telling me what I should order. told her what we wanted she was disrespectful and could hear the others laughing in the back ground. What a rotten display of customer service . I would recommend anyone not to go there

Well I got a hair with a cookie wrapped around it. It was baked into the cookie. When I complained, the “manager” said there was nothing he could do. Also every sandwich we ordered was completely wrong. Got a chicken sub with avocado, and it had steak and NO avocado. Both were upcharges. Again nothing they Could do.

When I got to the store, the workers at least acknowledged my existence. After I processed to pick up my online order, I said:”thank you, I appreciate it!” To which she said:”emm-hmm” I ordered the foot long no 7 sandwich, you know, the ones they advertised heavily on. The avocado looked like they had paid a baby to diarrhea on my sandwich. The green pepper wasn’t bad, but then the chicken was mushy and dry at the same time somehow. The bread itself was so toasted it was just crumbles. I had to get out of my truck to brush them off because I was only given one piece of napkin. I should’ve just gone home. Never again.
