Conclusion first:A sandwich quest gone sideways.
Venturing into the Subway on Madison Street felt less like lunch and more like a survival encounter. Veggies? Nearly extinct. The place? As if a food fight broke out and no one cast Prestidigitation. On the bright side, the staff were kind and did their best amidst the chaos. Still, this deli dungeon needs a serious cleanse before it’s worth another visit.

Turning A Blind Eye
My son went in this subway to get 3 sandwiches. I usually don’t do reviews but this place….. the worker was rude. She told my son something rude when he was leaving but he had to turn around and get 2 more sandwiches. She then ask if he was going to tip this time. The didn’t have Ingredients like pickles or sauces. There were three things I wanted in the sandwich I didn’t get because they didn’t have. And she had the nerve to be rude the whole time and ask for a tip? I got my sandwich opened it and it was mostly bread. I told my niece “it’s like eating bread sandwich. She said “me toooo, I thought it was just me.” No more subway. He should’ve gone to Publix.

So I understand that there is a “festival” going on at this time however there is no excuse for not letting people sit in the chairs that are put up on the tables is insane. I understand if we are close to closing but it was 4-5, your location close at 8 pm. This is unacceptable, I understand that you are by your self dealing with a lot of customers but you did take multiple breaks in the back, nothing is wrong with a breather but not only you were going slow but you also taking breaks in between. Me and my troop as been waiting here for 45 minutes being force to stand and the line getting longer. The worker should be fired or should be felt with immediately he obviously does not care about his job, seeing the big order for a lot of students can be upsetting however it’s your job to be decent to use. You weren’t, you however wasn’t wearing your name tag so I couldn’t get your name or hairnet and sir your dreads are very long . I was just told that this location is always like this very upsetting. HR needs to visit this place to sort it out. Also very hot with no explanation, a friendly heads up would be nice.

Stopped in for a quick bite.
Sandwich was decent and the place was fairly clean, but the service felt a bit rushed and not super friendly.
It did the job for lunch, but nothing special.
Probably fine if you’re in the area and need something quick, just don’t expect much more.

I went to the restaurant at 7:30pm and I did not get a service, because “ It was close” The house by the door said close at 8:00pm . The employee was really rude and argue that he was by him self and he needs to clean and be off at 8:00, but he let in another customers after me.
Manager need to schedule more than one people on Saturdays or busy days when they have a event by te river.

Asked for a steak and cheese protein bowl. I didn’t even get cheese until I asked for the Parmesan shaker. The bowl was literally a bowl of beef steak and some sandwich vegetables. At least the lettuce was crispy. $17 meal I won’t be repeating! The sandwiches which were actual meals, were also cheaper. The place was clean, though.

Absolutely terrible workers. Yelled at me for filling up my water bottle, mind you I had paid for a sandwich and a sprite. Asked us to leave afterwards, just because I wanted water. Did not yell at a white woman for doing the same thing. I am hispanic and black. And they were super rude to my friend and my friend’s mom. Better off not eating here

Do not order a Cold Cut Combo from here. They don’t know what meat(s) go on a Cold Cut Combo. They gave me a Ham Sandwich instead. They did not give me all three ham, salami, and bologna that makes up a Cold Cut Combo.
