Please do not offer Door Dash during weekday Lunch as you don’t have enough staff to support this. Line is constantly 30 military customers grabbing lunch and trying to get back to work. Today the line looked like 50 and was winding out of the dining area into the buildings exits. Took me 40 minutes to get lunch today.

Ive been at this location many times. Very slow service. Like my friends will be in a longer line at the panda express next door and they will all be done waiting for me and they still do not have my order completed sadly. Sandwhich quality is a hit or miss too. I do hope this establishment gets better.

Usually the service here is good but today the older lady behind counter taking and starting sandwich orders during the lunch rush went to fast and messed up my subway club. Luckily the guy at the register caught the mistake and suggested an easy fix (simply add the missing roast beef). It wouldn’t have been a big deal except the lady who made the mistake had an unnecessarily bad attitude about the situation (to the point of being rude to me and the guy at the register). She had the nerve to complain loudly that it was “unprofessional” to just add the missing sandwich meat as opposed to her desire to make me wait for her make a whole new sandwich. I doubt she appreciated that irony. She didn’t even acknowledge to me that she messed up my order. Not sure if she’s a manager but she sucks at basic customer service.

UPDATE- With the closing of Godfather’s pizza, the lines can get very long. Either get here early or after 1 PM to avoid waiting 15 20 minutes. As a Subway it is a well run location.

I’ve been in the army for over 15 years and have visited many installations and their food courts. This is my 3rd time at fort Gordon and second time at this particular subway. Two teenage kids working behind the counter, which isn’t an issue. But they carried on a conversation even after I walked up. Not even a “hello, welcome to subway” or a “what can I get for you?” Or anything to acknowledge my existence after I made eye contact with both of them. I used manners and was polite as I always am even though I’m at least 10 years older than both of them, but it’s the way I was raised. So then I spoke loudly and said I’ll get a subway club on wheat, double meat. The only thing he said to me from the time I walked up until I checked out was – “what kind of cheese u want?” Didn’t ask me if I wanted a combo or a drink or chips or anything. This crew was completely unprofessional on both occasions and have no sense of work ethic. I refuse to go here ever again if these two kids are working the desk again.

Nice staff, very clean. One of the better Subways I have been to. Get a breakfast flatbread every morning and the guy there is very polite and conversational. Makes the visit that more enjoyable.
