Food is always good but the service and the way they handle customers is just strange. Three people working one day and two of them were stocking while one employee does everything. Customers be damned. Always talking on the phone or just hanging out in the kitchen. Sometimes someone will just stand at the register and do nothing else to help the other person who is taking the order and then making the whole sandwich.

The server talked on her phone using her ear buds while fixing the sandwich. When it was time to pay she didn’t say how much just hels out her hand. When I asked how much she turned her whole screen around for me to see the total. No napkins, when asked for some napkins the server that fixed my sandwich was sitting on the counter in the kitchen area still talking on the phone. The server that was sitting in the booth talking on her phone making plans for New Years got the napkins. Finally when I got to the car and unwrapped the sub it was not closed and my vegetables were out of the bread and I had to put them back in. I will Never go back. I told my boyfriend and his response was “oh I could have told you about that I went there once the customer service is bad they don’t care.”

I worked there for almost a year and when new management came in, they began being rude to the employees that was already there and replacing them with new ones. They were also literally writing up a employee for not showing up to work despite them knowing she had a medical condition that was causing active distress. ✌

The bread is always fresh, service is amazing. I love this one!!!! So on July 10th I came to subway. Figured I would get great service again, DID NOT HAPPEN!!! The young lady was pulling bread on her phone ignoring me. The other young lady was helping a customer. As she finished helping the customer she took my order, as we were finishing up another customer came in that had a app order, she stopped helping me to help him, than Over charged me. So wish the manager was there. Very dissatisfied.

Today I went in and got 3 subs BIG mistake the tomato had mold on the and she put that hand full in the trash but the rest from the same batch was still being used and sold to the people behind me … then she dropped something on the floor and picked it up and didn’t wash her hands i know they put on gloves , but still that’s just nasty ..

On Wednesday we were leaving Wilmington after checking on property we own. After stopping at 2 convenient stores and finding out the restrooms were out of order we found the Subway. They were sold out of food but kept the restrooms open for the amount of people who were dealing with Hurricane Florence’s effects. KUDOS to great people!!!

Every time anyone that I know goes to Harrells location the manager has not put vegetables out she is usually on her phone sitting down. I have personally been in and waited 30 minutes then left and another time no tea alot of vegetables not out and the manager lady was on her phone. My son won’t even go there drives out of his way to get a decent sub
