The service and food here are pretty typical of a subway in my opinion. Something I always enjoy and can always leave satisfied. I would like to comment on the looks of the place. It definitely needs some major upgrades when it comes to the store itself. The wallpaper is tearing on two separate walls. The cushions in one of the bench seats I saw had holes and rips in it. The ceiling has missing tiles and such. Appearance doesn’t have to do with customer service when it comes to servers and this is not at the fault of them but appearance does matter. It shows the people who own it care about it and care about what the customer comes into. A nice and neat restaurant should definitely be on the list of priorities. I know it seems to be a very bitty complaint but it’s more of an observation and hopefully in time the place will be repaired. It goes a long way in getting people to return to the establishment.

I gave them 5 stars because if you compare them with other subways in Asheboro area this place is very decent, it’s very clean, all vegetables and meats looks fresh, plenty of seating indoor and outdoor, staff is friendly. If you like to enjoy fresh subs this is the place you need to go.

Last month I wouldn’t believe that I was writing this review but this place has gone downhill fast. They went from making sandwiches exactly as ordered within plenty of time to the opposite within about a month. First the app required that I put a tip in, suggesting initially 15% before i even arrived to see that the sandwich was made correctly. Two of the subs were plain with only meat and cheese but the “sandwich artists” could not even get that right. They did not change the status to “ready” in the app until after we picked up the food and there was noticeably less meat and cheese than ever before.

A couple weeks ago I went into the Hwy 49 Subway to order a sandwich. I could not believe how dirty the indoor dinning room was. All tables were nasty and the floor was as well. Also, once I got to the counter to give my order I noticed the following: dried up meatball sauce all over the working area, pieces of the vegetables were all over the cutting board area, especially between the board and the meat and veggie containers. What can I say about subway. I am really a man of few words. But here we go. Every time I leave subway I feel like I just purchased a used one from uncle Sam. If they get any higher they should change their name to Carrier. And I don’t know about any body else but those tip jars are almost like a protection racket. Leave a couple dollars and maybe my buddy Ralph won’t accidentally spit in your food. Capiche?. Or they look at you like the homeless guy at Walmart

It would be 5 stars because the staff is usually great and i never have a problem with them and they do everything by the book. But literally the past few times I’ve had to deal with the worst sub maker of all time named Barb. Literally next time I see her working I am going to turn around and leave because I dont want her to have nothing to do with my sub…completely rude and not worth the time and energy to deal with. She won’t listen and try to rush you and get you out. Worst sub maker of all time.

This location was very clean and they were very accommodating. I called earlier in the week and the employee who answered the phone was awesome and made sure she was giving accurate information. We called ahead for our zoo trip and placed an order to be ready when we reached Asheboro. The person who took my order was very helpful and our to go order was ready when we got there. The cashier who checked us out was just as friendly as all the others. I highly recommend this location.

Worst customer service ever!I ordered online for curbside pickup I pulled in I followed the instructions and hit the button that said I’m hereAnd I waitedAfter about 7 minutes I didn’t see anybody coming in or going out of the restaurant I did it againAfter the 15 minute Mark I dialed the phone number but nobody answered. When I went inside, the male employee was sparky telling me it must be another store. My order was found on a rack. The older employee was very rude

It’s amazing that a catering tray with simply a few sandwiches cut into smaller pieces requires 12 hour notice at minimum. Appeared to me that since there was not one person in the store and you had already began to clean up at 8 you didn’t want to do it.
