I can’t explain how great their service is 24/7! They’re always so kind, kid friendly, they remember my order as I’m a regular and pregnant mother! The place is always clean and the food is always spot on! I wish the cookies were a bit softer but I’m sure that’s how the company asks them to make it!

So usually I like it here but I had a bad experience this past time. I ordered my food with the Subway app but stayed in store to eat it. I ordered a 6 inch Tuna sub with lettuce, sweet peppers, banana peppers, mayo, salt, and pepper. When I but into the sandwich all I tasted was peppers and mayo on a roll. I opened my sandwich and could barely see any Tuna. I took my sandwich up to the counter and told an employee that I was unhappy with my sandwich because it lacked tuna fish. He proceeded to tell me that when the tuna is spread out it seems like their isn’t much but assured me there was 4 scoops of tuna on it. It offered me nothing for my dissatisfaction. He didn’t offer to fix it, he just told me I was wrong even though I’m looking at a sandwich with practically no Tuna. What happened to the customer always being right? I won’t be going back.

Subway helped take down the local mom and pop sup shops with inferior sandwiches that they sold at a low price. Sure it’s a nice sup but not enough meat and cheese to bun. Also they don’t cook cheese steak hot and fresh. They rewarm the meat and melt your cheese.

I usually get a cold cut combo but tried the club sub and I liked it also! The downtown Harrisburg location us very convenient to the Greyhound bus station. Downtown Harrisburg is not that big. Subways prices are not any higher since the covid either.

I wish I could remember the employee’s name, but he was very good. There were 3 people ahead of me, Myself, and a guy behind me. He took care of us all, from start to finish (taking payment) swiftly and without error. He was also very personable!!! Any location but this one ( downtown hbg pa market & 3rd street ) because of 1 bad worker. The bald guy with deep voice is incredibly unfriendly, unprofessional. Others I know say it too. He started making my food, then saw no chicken was there, went to get more in back then an online order came, he stopped to do that before doing mine at all and never went back to it, then let the other worker take the person behind me. He is completely unapologetic too and seems to not care. And even if you are trying to ask your family by phone what they want before you go up to the counter, there he is all in your face saying you cant sit in there unless you’re ordering something. He does this to alot of people too I’ve heard. There is another older guy who works there with short dark hair, he is often the only one up front and is always fast, professional, friendly and can actually handle the work and the people but I wont go to this location anymore if I see the other guy at the counter, maybe I just wont go at all. Even the young kids are better than that guy.

I work just around the corner so I’ve eaten here several times. This place is always clean. The staff have always been nice and respectful. Most importantly my food is prepared properly. They have a very nice setting area if your not in a hurry.

I like this subway. The subs are good and it’s close to home. My only complaint is, their hours SAY they open at 7. They definitely DO NOT open at 7. It’s more like 8:30 before they ACTUALLY open. If your store hours say you open at 7am, you should be in there BEFORE 7am and be ready for customers at 7am. Some of us have to get to work and move on with our busy life. Some of us don’t have time to wait for a store to open when they feel like opening. Either change your hours to when you actually open or actually open at the time listed on the door.

I can’t believe Subway has employees like Linx!!!!!First of all God bless his parents because he got the coolest name.But his name fits him,not only was he thorough in making sure we had options to choose from (because we are on a budget)he let us know you still can get this or that,and I was just amazed.I always go to McDonald’s Wendy’s or burger king but LInks made me say today “back to Subway” y’all have regained a customer who eats out and y’all will be on my door dash order.He deserves some type of bonus or raise cause here is his praise.efficient,kind,and thorough.Thank you link for letting me know Subway has good food that’s cheap too.
