My sandwich had nothing on it that I requested but the chicken and then gave me attitude and hard time and told me that I had no reason to be rude when she had to remake my sandwiches that I paid $30 for…… She might be the manager, but she definitely doesn’t know any customer service skills.
When you order online, you wanna be able to just go in and pick it up not have to stand there after you’ve already ordered an hour before watching them remake your sandwich sandwiches that you had already planned on eating….
It’s called taking accountability for your actions, especially when you’re in customer service deal with the rudeness and just apologize and leave it like that. Don’t interrupt your customers, tell them their being rude and cut them off and start smirking at them.
I was so excited to see this place come into the Richmond area when it first opened up I remember them tearing down the little shed and propping up this really nice establishment for a DD and a subway..
Fast-forward many years now.
I am no longer a customer, and it saddens me because I am once again driving almost an hour round-trip to get a decent meal without stopping at an overpriced gas station.
They used to make excellent sandwiches and there’s a gentleman there that does an amazing job still to this day.
However,
I’m not sure what happened whether it was the policy or what not but the fact remains that the sandwiches have gone up almost 40% in price and they have lost 40% of their fillings/ portions.
I’m not sure what the prices say on the menu but my very basic BLT without condiments came to $12.
And I’m pretty sure I had all of three dollars worth of ingredients and a big piece of bread.
Either allow your employees to put more ingredients in the sandwiches, if they are allowed, then please train them again to put food in this sandwiches. It’s very expensive to not be able to eat and if you are experiencing a lack of business, this is 100% why, I’m a local I know almost everyone around here and I know what everyone complains about and this is a top complaint in the area when it comes to eating subway not filling their sandwiches in Richmond is a common Topic between grumbling locals.
I sincerely hope this helps. I hope it helps your guys business volume. I hope it helps people get their stomach filled up with something besides bread. For $12 and I hope after this, somebody actually reads it and follows through, it would be great to be able to stop by again.
I can’t add photos as I was too hungry and ate the entire thing in just several little bites and I’m still starving, it was legit like eating bread.
