I would recommend AJ’s to anyone wanting good food and service. They get busy but there is plenty staff to handle the load.
Had the ribeye with mash and street corn. Ribeye was thick and cooked on point, mash was creamy and light and street corn had the right amount of spice. Ate all including most the fat. That tarragon butter made it sensational.
Wife had the Chicken Fajitas and they were awesome. Guacamole was buttery and smooth with a hint of spice. The rice was absolutely the best rice we have had in a long time. Whoever cooked that knows what they are doing.
Mother in Law had the Baja Fish Tacos. The breading was not heavy and the sauce was on point. The Mother in Law was actually humming while she ate it was that good.
I really wanted to try the peach cobbler but after that thick ribeye I had no room for dessert. Will have to try next time.
Will definitely be coming back with more people and will let everyone I know about this place. It was a nice well rounded menu appeasing to our three different desires for the night. Next time I go I want to try the Brussel sprouts with roasted pork belly. That sounded awesome.
Wife had Italian beef sandwich with the onion rings and she also loved it 10 and 10! I wanna go back and try some other food next time great place stop in.
Edit: it turns out everything I know is a lie, and they do not share a kitchen. I will not rely on my questionable memory for much longer, however; I still highly encourage all to go to AJs and Amore.
My experience here was so good that I can’t ever call this bar food. I came for brunch on Saturday and had the eggs benedict and it was exceptional! Of course I had to stay and have some drinks and as I got closer to dinner time I decided to try the Philly cheesesteak sliders with fries. The sliders were really good but I have to admit the french fries were some of the best I have ever put in my dirty mouth.
Wonderful atmosphere and the staff is second turn on definitely stop in and give this a shot. There’s a meatloaf sandwich on the menu that’s on my hit list next.
