Went there to order 2 sandwiches and was told coupon would not work for a steak and cheese and a cold turkey sandwich. I told them that it should work since I got the 2 exact sandwiches a few days before and they took the coupon. They say the coupon does not work for bacon, chicken and steak. The coupon was 2 sandwiches for $12.99.

Someone needs to tell brillaint mathematicians who work there that “Double Meat” means twice as much. As in the normal amount multiplied by two. Every time I ask for Double Meat they put the regular amount on and then just a tad bit extra. I even called them out about it, stating that I’m paying an extra $3 for Double Meat and they’re ripping me off by not delivering on that advertised addition. They responded with an annoyed eye roll and and then completely ignored me as I tried to explain (very patiently and politely). I’m done going to this location. The new staff is so rude and unhelpful.

Inside is remodeled…that’s about the only nice thing about this place. Staff has a rude demeanor, like you are bothering them by being a customer. They barely put anything on your sub. I think it’s new management because it used to not be like that here. Very disappointed with food quality and amount you get for the price. Will go to the other subway in Gardner.

I have been to a lot of subways but this is probably the cleanest and freshest Subway I’ve been to. The place was absolutely slammed, But the employees were so pleasant and fast that I hardly noticed. Right when I walked in and employee on break saw me looking at my coupons and was cool enough to let me know the couple promotional items that they didn’t apply to, and then at check out the cashier (different employee, wearing a manager shirt) sopped me from using the wrong coupon which would have saved me less money and pointed out the coupon that I would save even more money. If I could give 6 stars I would these guys made my night.

Order a simple sub with lettuce pickles and Chipotle sauce sub arrives with barley any sauce and they put no pickles in but instead put in gross cucumbers wich made the whole sub taste off all I can say is ever since the new management took over this particular sub way goes 0 stars for me all I can is don’t let people who can’t understand words work because the staff is rude abd can’t understand any simple instructions I give them

Stopped in 2 get sandwiches. When arriving a women came out from the back, she was very pleasant, however did not understand what I was asking for – two foot-long sandwiches on italian bread. Not a big deal, we worked together and figured it out. It was very clear that one of the two rolls was old and stale as it was flaking apart and looked nothing like every other fresh roll in the bread case. I hated to do it but I asked if I could get a fresh roll… knowing my daughter would likely not eat the sandwich if it was on stale bread, I reluctantly asked. Yikes! Massive confusion. Eventually she went to the back and an older teen/young man came out… not pleasant. I explained to him that I simply wanted a fresh roll for my sandwich. He said “I have no idea how old the rolls” and started to walk away. I stopped him and said to him again I’m not asking you how old they are I’m simply asking for a fresh one, if he had even looked at the roll he would have noticed what I was talking about but he didn’t bother, he just continued to walk into the back. The sweet woman trying to make the sandwich could see my frustration and did everything she could to understand. A minute or two later the kid from the back came around front again, she seemed to get his permission to get a new roll and proceeded to take all of the meat that she had put on the old roll back into the meat case and then took that piece of bread that had all of my meat on it and put back into the bread case . Moving on. We managed to get through 2 very simple sandwiches and now it is time to wrap and leave. I am watching as she takes a knife that was in a solution of some kind out, it’s sopping wet and has old food on it (looked to be mayo) – shook it in the air to remove the water and then proceeded to scrape each side of the knife on the edge of the counter to attempt to remove the remaining mayo or whatever it was. I couldn’t even speak fast enough before she cut the sandwich in half. It took everything I had not to just walk out. Keep in mind her co worker, now right beside her, did not assist her in any way – he knew exactly what he was doing as another customer came in and he quickly and efficiently helped that customer. I stopped her before she attempted to cut the second sandwich. Got home, trimmed the edges off my daughters sandwich where the dirty knife was used… and they ate. Bonus – neither kid got sick.
