I used to go here when it was Musashino years ago. I was pleasantly surprised when we tried it tonight for happy hour. The service was fantastic and the food was great. To top it off the prices were outstanding during happy hour. We highly recommend this place and we will definitely be coming back for more happy hour dinners. The Black Forest cake for dessert was delicious

We had a pleasant experience at Street. The service was attentive and polite. We had some rolls, ahi sushi, salmon sushi, beef skewers, and the lemon pepper wings with taro fries. Everything was good.

I planned to go to Chinatown North for dim sum but the sign at the entrance said to head downstairs for dim sum, where Street is below. The waiter said they are connected but different establishments and the dim sum servers upstairs would come from the lower kitchen anyway. I ate here with a close friend after wrapping up weekend meetings in Austin. The place has a good vibe and friendly service, quite modern and clean. We shared six items and everything had great flavor, with the turnip cake and prawn siu mai being my favorites. Above average pricing for dim sum but I think that comes with the experience. Good spot for a date or with friends. I would go back.

This restaurant surprised me! I was ready to have an unassuming meal that would fix my dim sum craving but I was blown away by the taste of the food and the great service! I would recommend: 1) fried shrimp balls 2) pork and prawn shumai 3) pork buns 4) lavender haze drink. All of
the above went so well together and were exceptional. The service was professional and prompt as well. I normally don’t care about the ambiance of a place but the atmosphere was aesthetic, clean, and pleasing. Would highly recommend!

I had the vegetable fried rice and chicken wings…I give those dishes a 4.3. The atmosphere is gorgeous. The restaurant upstairs is gorgeous. The next time I go I want those soft shell crabs I saw in the menu.

Yumm we were craving dim sum one football morning. We stopped by here and it didn’t disappoint. Taro fries healthy and sweet and salty. Everything was good. Sichuan dumplings did have more dough. Oh no I didn’t take a picture of the ha cao or shrimp pork dumplings. Those were so thick and juicy I forgot to take a snapshot and we ate them all. Loved my noodles. I will come back to get that to go sometime. Friendly host and waitress/ers. We had a fun and delicious experience. Enjoy!!

This was our first time here.

Excellent service, food was not mind blowing but pretty tasty.

Upon arriving, we were greeted and seated right away.

After looking at the menu, we were excited that they had fresh ground wasabi as well as the chopped pickled wasabi.

We started off with the “Street Austin” Roll because it has escolar in it and we love escolar. The fish was fresh however we found the mesh of flavors to be odd/overwhelming, taking away from the taste of the fish. The asparagus and sweet teriyaki sauce overpowered the flavor of the fish. I’d recommend a little less brown sauce and trying to cut the asparagus into smaller strips. There was truffle aioli on the top but barely any, so the truffle flavor didn’t quite make it out.

For the second item, we tried the garlic/ginger Karaage. It has bits of juicy dark meat inside and was very crunchy. The Lemon aioli dipping sauce was very tasty and to spice it up a little, we ate it with the fresh / chopped wasabi.

The third item was the chicken Katsudon bowl. This is what little kids in Japan like to eat and it turns out that my husband also likes it. It’s a fried chicken cutlet over rice with dashi sauce and an egg. The sauce from the dashi is poured over the chicken and egg and then soaked into the rice. My husband loved this dish and I thought it was quite tasty myself.

The food is delicious! The first time we went, it was on accident. We were trying to go to the restaurant upstairs, and just thought they were the same. They share the bathrooms, but the food downstairs was way better!

Hidden gem in NW Austin. Highly recommend for adults and kids. Our sushi people are happy. And, our cook-it-well-done folks are happy, too.
