After figuring out the menu with the waiter, we had a great time and the food was phenomenal. Every course was better than the next. The waiter said the filet was only cooked medium but still came out medium rare-rare. The tortellini was amazing! The forrotto was unexpectedly a standout. The pacing was a bit off on courses, some taking way longer than others. But he kitchen didn’t seemed stressed and it was awesome to see them work.
Atmosphere was average for fine dinning, could have used a bit more music to cut through the loudness of everyone speaking.
and there are places where food is honored.
Leiah Restaurant belongs to the second kind.
From the moment you arrive, you feel it—an atmosphere of intention, beauty, and quiet excellence. Every detail is thoughtful, unhurried, and deeply respectful of tradition. This is not dining for haste; this is dining as it was meant to be—an experience.
The flavors are layered, honest, and soulful. Each dish tells a story of roots, patience, and craft, as if time itself slowed down to season the food properly. Nothing is excessive, nothing is missing. Just balance—like a well-kept ritual passed down through generations.
The service flows with grace and warmth, never intrusive, always present. You are welcomed not as a customer, but as a guest—held in care, attentiveness, and pride for what is being offered.
Leiah is not just a restaurant.
It is a reminder that when things are done with heart, reverence, and mastery, they nourish more than the body.
A true gem in Orlando.
A place you don’t just visit—you return to.
I haven’t been for dinner yet, but they shared their menu with me…. One during Orlando’s Magic week, which ends Sept 30th, and then they also shared their regular dinner menu which is 6 courses. The chef is coming out with a 5 course menu starting in October. Something to try next time I’m here.

Sept 24th 2025: I came back 🙂 This place is consistent with the food. It still tasted the same, and I love the way it tastes, so I’m happy to see it’s consistent. I just loooove that Wagyu burger! The chefs and waiter were just so pleasant. There’s no doubt I’ll be back, every time I’m visiting Orlando for work.

Sept 9th 2025: I popped in for a late lunch on a Tuesday. There appeared to be a group of 4 people there just getting up to leave as I entered. Another solo diner came in after me. Otherwise the place was empty, making it nice and quiet.
The set up is elegant. You have an open view of the kitchen. There were two chef’s back there.
I ordered the Wagyu burger and upgraded from fries to the “bees & beets” salad. They serve a smaller portion of the salad when it’s a side item. I wasn’t aware that it would be larger if I hadn’t made it as a side to my burger, but I would order the full size in the future. Plus they don’t put the honey-flavored butterfly shaped “cookie” on top of the smaller version of the salad. I mentioned that to the waitress and she ended up bringing me the butterfly to try. It was tasty and so was the salad, hence why I’d order the full size salad in the future.
I ordered my burger medium-well and it came out just as I ordered.
I’m favoriting this place on my Google maps. I’ll be coming back for sure!

We showed up two weeks later and were met with a warm welcome and instant recognition. We were promptly seated. My girlfriend and I requested to do the magical experience with wine pairing. We immediately noted the unique tableware and finishing. Candace explained how the magical experience worked and we asked for a deviation to change up the experience. The chef came out and talked with us. He listened to what we wanted and graciousness and excitedly accommodated us. Everything was perfect and well executed. Candace who hosted also served as one of our sommeliers. The chef/owner shared the wonderful story of his daughter and history of the restaurant’s origin and roots. He brought us a wagyu potato mousse as a teaser. It was amazing! Paul was one of our servers, it was his first day but you couldn’t tell. He was very friendly. Aspen and Summer brought out our dishes and explained their preparation and execution. They were both friendly and answered all of our questions which added to the experience as we were absorbing the execution and creativity of each dish.
The timing and portions were on point, we left satisfied and wanting to come back for lunch. I would highly recommend and can’t wait for our next visit.
