I’ve visited several times now, and unfortunately I still haven’t had a good meal here.
The cod portion is very small — you really need to order the two-piece. It also comes breaded, which isn’t indicated on the menu and was unexpected. The risotto it’s served on is mushy and had the consistency of baby food.
The bacon cheeseburger was one of the worst burgers I’ve had. It was overcooked and piled so high with bacon that grease was dripping off the bun. I sent it back because it was just so gross.
The chicken burger was equally disappointing — messy and bone dry.
The espresso was burnt and even had coffee grounds in the cup. At this point, investing in a commercial Nespresso machine would likely provide more consistency.
For the price, you would expect much more for what you pay.
On a positive note, the servers have been kind and understanding each time. I can only imagine they spend a lot of time sending plates back to the kitchen.

Very modern, nice place. We went for an earlier dinner. Started off awkward, our first server all you can smell was alcohol on her breath and she wasn’t very friendly. But then Felicia took over, and she was amazing! Friendly, warm, and nice. The food was fresh and delicious! Average prices $13 for cocktails. $25 main $15 appetizer.

We visited Strada West for my husband’s birthday. It was not our first time there. He loves the mussels! The food was good and our server was lovely, even bringing a sample of the beer my husband was going to order so he could try it first. It’s not inexpensive, but the portions are very generous. The atmosphere, however, was awful. I don’t expect restaurants to be quiet, especially close to Christmas, but the owner was hosting a group of men (I’d put their number at about two dozen), who were loud and vulgar. I could barely hear my husband sitting two feet from me. I was not the only in the restaurant who noticed. The owner seemed completely unbothered his other patrons were having to shout over the noise while his party yelled obscenities across the table at one another. Look, if you want to treat your restaurant like your personal dining room, go ahead, but book the restaurant accordingly. This guy wanted to still make money off his customers while also completing disregarding their experience. No apologies, no “thanks for coming” (as the owner – the minimum you should be doing) and no comping so much as a slice of bread – all simple goodwill gestures, the absence of which speaks volumes. In case you’re wondering, we had just ordered our drinks and appetizers when this party arrived. A small group was coming in as we left, and they turned around and went elsewhere. I’d think twice about going back, which is a shame.

Menu seemed pricey and ordered chicken parm. The chicken cutlet was a good size for the price and the only disapointment was the lack of flavour. It tasted very bland. Using salt and pepper on the table helped to elevate it. Ended up taking 90% of it home. Server was great. Kept our drinks filled but never hovered. Atmosphere seemed like it was meant to be more semi formal and felt very under dressed in business casual atire. Also very sweet the server brought a cheesecake slice complimentry for the friends birthday we were there celebrating. Only other thing i noticed online menu is a bit different than in restaurant so that should be updated but overall not bad.

This place is quaint. The food is really good I had some Chicken Alfredo off of someone else’s plate as my dish of crab ravioli was not tasting the best. It just tasted off. Not sure if it was me or not. The chicken could be my last meal it was amazingly done and very filling.
Service was spot on, and the staff were quick. Towards the end of our dinner the waitress brought out the debit machine and just left it there as to say pay and get out. I guess that was our queue to leave.

Pretty good food. I really liked the ravioli. I was a bit disappointed with their arancini balls though. They are more like croquettes, and the sauce they serve with them, doesn’t go that well; marinara would be better in my opinion. The lasagna was ok. The service is quite good and friendly. Nice atmosphere.

Went to Strada West for a special occasion dinner where one guest and the one whom we were celebrating had never been. Yes, good atmosphere, however, the food and service was truly sub par.
One of the meals brought out was cold/ lost heat within 2 minutes of being brought out while the others steam was coming from them.
Our server yes was friendly but was drinking on shift and was not shy about it as she was sitting at the bar with her friends or coworkers (unsure) and continued to have shots throughout our stay.
Again, although kind and friendly our waiter was not very attentive throughout our stay. Maybe if there wasn’t so much of a “social club” at the bar which she was taking part in the dinner experience would have been far better, our bill would have been higher and the tip FAR greater!
I will say again yes our server was super nice nothing against her at all but maybe if the manager or whomever was on hand / the one to be running the shift wasn’t hanging out in the “social club” and allowing the bartender / server to drink on shift the experience would have been better.
Lastly, I want to note that when strada west first came on the scene it was about a standard, it was intimate personal and upscale value truly worth your dollar, now people in baseball caps baggy sweats and drunk bartenders is what the scene at this “upscale” restaurant has become…

Great food, and classy atmosphere. Their patio is small and nice for sitting out on a warmer day. Always look forward to dessert for a piece of cheesecake. Their selection is usually pretty extensive, and portion is large enough to share. Always look forward to going back with family and friends!
