One of the most desirable kebab places in Forest Hills-Rego Park areas. We have visited many times and always noticed a new dish. They have quick services, friendly stuff and fresh kosher meals to take out or eat in. Newly added private room is a great addition to current place for birthdays and private events. Stix has a large selection of professionally prepared meat entries from kebabs to A + steaks as well as many fish dishes to order. Salads are prepared to order all fresh.

We eat here on two or three occasions every year. You don’t need to speak Russian to eat well in this place. I get chicken kebab lamb kebab and steak kebab almost every time and last time i had a soup that was one of the best soups I ever had outside my family’s houses. I have tried many different kinds of salads dumplings and Russian meat pies here as well and I’m always pleasantly surprised. The salmon skewers i ate last time were a revelation, and i think i will be ordering that every time from bow in.

This is a very nice kosher place with Russian food options. The overall food is good but not great but the prices are super low. This place is kosher and offers meat and fish options. Would recommend if you are in the area.

The kebabs were good especially the lula ones (very flavorful). The lamb kebab not so much, it was too chewy and not enough seasoning. The breads were not what was expected. Didn’t like breads at all, the one that looks like a pan was crunchy which was not mentioned in the menu. 3 start for the experience. The service was nothing good nor bad but when we ordered 2 breads the server could’ve mentioned some details about the them since we are obviously not Uzbek. This restaurant is more suitable for the Uzbek’s than someone like me that went to to experience Uzbeki dishes.

This place has roaches…..My girlfriend and I had dinner, We ordered a bunch of appetizers, each of us ordered an entree. Our dinner was served – lamb kebabs – and there was a dead roach on the other side of the kebab. I was mortified that the kitchen brought me out my food this way. I immediately asked for the Manager, after a discussion, he said to me “ what is the big deal? The bug is extra portion for you?” I was so disgusted that we left the place. I promise you that I will never go to this place again. This is so horrible.
