Stella’s Pizza is delicious! Authentic dishes, pizza, salads, etc. Caprese salad, we split, and it was wonderful. We had the 10″ Meat Pizza. Consists of Italian sausage, pepperoni, meatballs, and anchovies. It had perfect flavor. Gluten crust was thin and crispy.

We found this spot after a day of mountain biking nearby and enjoyed a fantastic meal! We were asked if we had reservations, we did not. They still were able to seat us, thankfully. Stella’s has a dark, candlelit, old school Italian restaurant ambiance to it. The grilled salmon was delicious. It was served with sundried tomatoes, angel hair, pesto cream sauce, over a bed of spinach with some other veggies as well. The kids had a great chicken alfredo and spaghetti, both served with veggies and a slice of garlic bread. We finished off with some awesome desserts! The warmed chocolate cake and key lime pie were mouth watering! We hope to visit again however, reservations may be the only way to get seated if you’re not lucky to go when they don’t have a packed house.

Nice little Italian restaurant in the middle of Taos proper; limited staff, but friendly

If you’re looking for a good pizza, this is not your jam. The owner came out with a dirty chef smock, and told us this would be the best pizza we would ever have. “Even New Yorkers think so!” he said. We had a one inch ball of moldy parmesan, and we mentioned it and the owner came back and slammed another one down. The next one also had mold! GTF outta here! Bus boy and others servers were pleasant and kind. But I would not recommend their pizza.

Stopped at Stella’s to have dinner with my family. Everything that we ordered was delicious and the servers were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They made great recommendations! If you love pasta I’d especially recommend Stella’s, they have variety of pastas dishes among other menu items.

Food was great , but the service and waiting time was awful. We had 2 servers. The older lady was a little rude, impatient and it seemed like she didnt want to be there. We asked how big the pizzas were and she said they were small. We ordered 2 and they ended being so big. We wasted money and food because we couldnt take it to go since we were on a road trip. The younger server was nice which made our dinner better. We will not go back.

I absolutely had the BEST dining experience EVER. The portabella mushroom soup took my breath away at the first bite, so amazingly yummy. The owner is just the best and I will definitely be going back soon!

The food was very good, unique, the dessert was wonderful, but the atmosphere was really great. It seemed a place where the locals go. As we left our waiter, an old man with large gray mustache, got up from a table where he was chatting with a large party, thanked me snd shook my hand. We had no reservation but arrived just before the place filled up. We will definitely return to Stella’s.

The atmosphere is excellent but everything else reminds me of a restaurant that is past its prime. It was obviously a labor of love for the owner back in the day, but now it lacks that extra touch. The pasta dishes are mediocre and overpriced. I paid $7 to add chicken to my dish and got maybe 3 oz. of chicken, boiled with no color. Clearly they’re having the same problem finding labor as every other restaurant, which is unfortunate because the owner stepped in to serve us and he was not feeling it.
