I went in on a Sunday Evening, July 30, and a musical duo were singing and playing. Half the tables had customers, but it looked like mostly coffee and tea. A waiter finally told me to sit anywhere, so I sat at the bar. The musicians started a break before I could get a photo. The poor waiter seemed to be the only person working, cashiering, waiting tables, and serving. The menu looked very good, and the restaurant had a good atmosphere. I used to frequent the restaurant in the 1960’s and 1970’s. I really can’t judge the menu since I didn’t have enough time to wait for the order taker or cook. The coffee bar is usually labor intensive in preparation.

Visited Stella’s for the first time since it opened–after major renovations (I missed the pressed tin ceiling)–in the space occupied for decades by Estella’s Cafe.

Awesome restaurant I came here while staying in Las Vegas at the Plaza hotel. Super cool area and its a really nice place to go get breakfast and a coffee. The food was great and the service was also impressive. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a breakfast sandwich or other quick breakfast item at this great cafe.

First time visiting here and the service was able too sit me down immediately, the atmosphere truly made me feel comfy with a soft red and florescent art deco filling the main wall with Mexican paintings and furnishing adding a wonderful homie vibe.

I was personally excited and open to trying a new place, and granted, maybe this was an off day. I ordered door dash from here and got a bagel with salmon, a grilled green chili, chicken, swiss cheese melt, and a green chile chicken soup bowl. Obviously I am disappointed with what I received, but I will gladly edit this later if I ever get food from here again.

What a delightful experience. I had the “Stack”. It was small but what an incredible meal, just delicious! The coffee was quite good and smooth. I roast my own coffee and will bring some beans by when I am up that way again. Highly recommend a great experience

We did take out and had the breakfast sandwich and it was outstanding. The tarts are fantastic – we did order two blueberry and one almond jam tart, but were given three blueberry – that’s fine, they’re delicious. We also ordered two peanut butter cookies but were given oatmeal, which were still quite delicious, and they didn’t have raisins, which is a plus.

Wow… This place is a gem breakfast at its best… The environment is amazing and the food will not disappoint at all. Coffee was amazing and avocado toast… Green chile chicken soup had so much flavor…

We live in Santa Fe and thought we’d try Stella’s Cafe last weekend. The service was quite good and the food was, well, different. I don’t know if it was the spices or what. Was it good? Yeah, I guess it was. Would we return? Likely not. And I guess we don’t care for all the eclectic surroundings. Looks like owner went to every antique store in Las Vegas and put the stuff all over the restaurant, almost like a museum. Not sure how that theme ties in with food. What I thought was odd was the location of the only restroom–it’s right there by the cooking area?? Feels unsanitary, although it probably is not. The parking was ample and the prices expected. For the money, stick to SFe.

Stella’s Cafe is a wonderful little coffee shop with BIG heart! Warm ambiance and hands down the best esspresso in town! Sit down and stop rushing! Sit and sip and chat with your community in this wonderful coffee shop! I have childhood memories of eating here when it was Estella’s cafe. The way they paid tribute to the original Estella’s really warmed my heart! I can still sit at the same stool!
